This was a great relaxing tour. We were on the water all around Rio's harbor. Seeing the city from the harbor is a very different experience from seeing it on land. Most of the time, we could tell where we were based on our view of Sugar Loaf, but sometimes we thought we were on one side of the bay when we were actually on the other side. The pilot and co-pilot put up the sails several times and clearly we were using the wind power , but there was not enough wind to use the sails during the whole trip. The drinks and snacks provided were great. This was the daytime cruise, and fully enjoyable.

This was a highlight of our trip to Rio! The views from the boat were stunning, it's such a nice way to see the city and it's natural landmarks from a different perspective. Our guide, Marcela, was AMAZING and gave us a lot of information about what we were passing - and a lot of Caipirinhas that were included in the tour price :) The best part of the experience was when we had the opportunity to jump from the boat into the water when we were in a secluded bay. The water was very cold in December, but it was so worth it!! We would recommend this trip to anyone and everyone.

If you do one thing in Rio, do this! An absolutely beautiful and relaxing excursion. Came to Rio with 3 of my friends and this was by far one of our favorite parts of our trip. Staff was helpful and friendly, and they made sure to show us amazing views.

Beautiful sailboat, beautiful Rio

It was wonderful seeing Rio from the water. The sail took us from the Marina to the base of Sugarloaf, then back to the museo de Amanha back under the flight path of the airport where we got a close up look at the underside of a plane landing. The captain spent the first half hour of the tour talking to the two of us because we were the only people in the cockpit. Soft drinks, water, beer, and snacks were provided. The sailboat is quite large, there was room for 16 easily. It is a beautiful boat and it sails beautifully. The crew of two are wonderful. The next time I go I will wear more layers as it got quite cold and we had a little rain toward the wnd.

What an amazing day! Had a great sailing experience - got to see many islands and sites from the water. I would recommend this tour to everyone and anyone wanting to do something different from a walking tour for example. The captain and his female colleague were warm, friendly, informative, helpful and made amaziiiiing caipirinhas and lovely board of food. We also had a swim stop and we’re able to take many pictures.

Our three hour tour was a little bit longer, and that’s OK Danielle and Marcella was very pleasant and informative with me and the rest of the passengers. We went around the day, we had snacks, with drinks, starting to go for a swim, and we saw a beautiful sunset as we were on our way back support. Daniel speaks excellent English, and he was engaging and informative, Marcella was the consummate host. Fabulous
