Feel like a jungle explorer as you cruise through the wild forests of Belize’s Cayo district on a pontoon boat. Float down a river that winds through the mystical Maya Mountains, stopping to swim and cliff jump at three different tropical waterfalls buried deep in the rain forest. A fresh Belizean lunch cooked right on board the pontoon completes this fantastic full-day adventure.
Full-day pontoon boat cruise and waterfall tour from San Ignacio
Float through the jungles of western Belize on a pontoon
Appreciate the unspoiled landscapes of the Maya Mountains
Robert was absolutely outstanding and this adventure was more than I hoped for in every way. From hiking up waterfalls, to the delicious lunch cooked on the pontoon, to swimming to seeing baby alligators, this could not have been a more special day! Highly recommend.
Robert, our guide, owns the pontoon boat and operates it as your guide. He grew up right in the area of the tour and has a lot of kin folks still living in the valley. His knowledge of the area, the jungle, and the jungle vegetation and animals was fantastic. We saw some baby crocodiles. He cooked lunch right on the boat on a big grill and we ate until we were all full. The waterfalls are magnificent and the hikes were short and not too strenuous.
Robert is an exceptional guide and man. Would love to hang out with him and fish the river, etc. You will love him and the tour.

One of the highlights of our trip. Incredibly scenic and relaxing. Our guide, Robert, grew up here. He knows the area well and cooks a delicious lunch. There was plenty of wildlife to see in addition to the waterfalls (toucan, monkeys, iguana) Highly recommended.
