Depart from Sorrento aboard a private motorboat for the trip to the island of Capri. See the spectacular White Grotto, named for the color of the mineral deposits on the rocks inside the cave.
Continue to the famous Faraglioni Rocks, unique rock formations along the shore of Capri, after which you'll have 2-3 hours of free time on the island to explore at your own pace. Stroll through the charming streets, browse the boutiques, or visit the Gardens of Augustus. Stop at a restaurant near Marina Piccola with which there is a special arrangement for you to have a free lunch (up to €10 per person) before climbing back aboard the boat.
Travel to the Green Grotto on Capri for a swim in the pretty cave before the trip back toward the mainland and the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella. See the ruins of the Minerva Tower, built by the Greeks to honor Athena, in which there was once a bell – a campanella – to sound the alarm in case of raids.
Learn about the unique assortment of plants and flowers that grow in the protected area due to a process called 'up-welling' – currents in this area bring water from the deepest parts of the ocean up to the surface. Relax on the return trip to Sorrento.
Please note that while there is some flexibility to tailor this private itinerary to your interests, any boat trip is subject to weather conditions. If the trip must be canceled due to poor weather, you can choose an alternative date or receive a full refund.
