Blenheim is spectacular as is Bourton on the water. The guide was not informative, it was basically just transport to and from these locations. Public transport would have offered the same experience.

Visiting the Cotswolds was quite enjoyable, they have managed well to keep the place as untouched by time as possible. This has been rated the most butiful place in the UK and I agree! Browsing through the small town with a shallow river in the middle where children and others could play barefooted in withouth fear, sitting outside by many excellent restaurants and in the tiny park by the river was a good feeling. The Blenheim Palace was even bigger than I had imagined and the surroundings are spectacular. This trip was excellent and worth every penny!

It was an interesting tour. Blenheim was really good to see, although I wished that we had skipped the second floor experience. It was very informative about the lives of the rich and famous of the day! It was a sampling of the Cotswalds this was our first time so it gave us a basic taste of what it is like. A smaller group in a smaller vehicle would be able to see more but it was the only way that we could do it within our framework. The bus was about 15 minutes late arriving as it dropped off an Oxford tour group. I recommend this tour although it is only a basic visit to the Cotswalds.
