Return Details

Returns to original departure point
After pickup from your St Maarten hotel, you'll transfer to Kim Sha Beach in Simpson Bay to meet your departing catamaran.

Climb on board to meet your experienced captain and friendly crew, then pick an ideal spot on the deck to relax. Soak up some sun, seek out shade or find a place on the trampoline area to catch some sea spray. Sidle up to the open bar or grab a snack of French baguettes. Watch the St Maarten shoreline recede into the distance as the boat heads toward the neighboring islands.

At Prickly Pear island, don your provided snorkeling gear and jump off the boat. The shallow waters and soft sand beach make this island a great spot for seeing the native marine life like butterfly fish, snapper and grouper.

After all this activity, refuel with lunch at a beachside restaurant. Dig in to a traditional Caribbean barbecue meal while enjoying the seaside breeze, then climb back on your boat to cruise to the next stop.

Sail for Cove Bay or Meads Bay on the neighboring island of Anguilla. Spend the afternoon enjoying more of the Caribbean's undersea life while swimming and snorkeling. Get great views of the island from your marine vantage point.

On the way back to St Maarten, watch the sun sink toward the horizon with a glass of Champagne in hand. Munch on grapes and banana cake before returning to the dock, where your full-day cruise ends. Enjoy drop-off back at your St Maarten hotel.
Itinerary
Stop At:
Prickly Pear
Head to Simpson Bay's Police Dock to board your catamaran. Pick a comfortable shaded seat, enjoy the breeze on the sundeck or savor the cool mist on the trampoline area as you leave St Maarten behind and cruise gracefully out onto the clear-blue Caribbean Sea. Grab a drink from the open bar, offering rum and fruit punch, beer and water all day, and enjoy a snack of French baguettes with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and tuna salad en route to your first stop, Prickly Pear Island. One of the Prickly Pear Cays — a small pair of uninhabited islands off the west coast of St Maarten — Prickly Pear Island has a superb beach and shallow waters that are great for snorkeling. Strap on your mask, slip into your fins and leap into the water for your first snorkeling session of the day. Swim around in search of grouper, snapper, butterfly fish and other marine life commonly sighted in these warm tropical waters.

My TOO RHUM PUNCH Experience
Brian_B
, Mar 2020
First off I have to say Captain Mario and his crew treated everyone on our tour like family. After the safety instruction were out of the way, the crew was open to requests for beverages, adult or not. A morning snack was served along with beverages, mean while up beat music played all day long. Swim and snorkel at Prickly Pear and head for the west coast of Anguilla for a pre-catered cold lunch and beverages, and a swim. Depart for the south west coast of St. Maarten for another swim, the ocean is so warm. As we head back to port, we are greeted with a glass of champagne for the last leg of our journey. A bus service is provided, ask if your hotel is on the pickup/drop off list. I highly recommend this tour. Captain Mario and his crew where stellar and great fun bunch of guys to be around. Two thumbs up to the “TOO RHUM PUNCH”

Quality Time on "Qaulity Time"

My husband and I have been to St. Martin a number of times now, and I can honestly say that this catamaran trip is the best thing we've done in all our times on the island!! We plan to do some type of excursion with Eagle Tours every time we're in St. Martin! The crew was amazing...very personable, fun to joke around with, extremely attentive, etc. etc. The group of people we were with that day was fabulous, and we really enjoyed meeting folks from places all around the world!! The catamaran is appropriately named "Quality Time," as that is exactly what we had!! Strongly recommend!!!

Great trip on “Quality Time”

We had a great day! The weather was rough but they gave us the option to cancel but we went ahead! We personally loved the ride even getting wet by the waves. They said normally it was like our ride back which was very smooth. It was to rough to snorkel. The food was good and the crew was great! Over all a great day to be on the water. I would recommend this tour!

Thank you thank you, it is always a very big thrill to sail with stronger weather, lots of ozone and energy. I will share with the crew and thank you for your time writing these few lines. Have a fantastic week Sophie

Average catamaran tour

The best thing about this tour was the first mate. He was attentive, friendly, funny and confident in his job. Other than that the snorkeling was average. Food was average. And the rest of the trip was disappointing. The trip to Anguilla was us getting off the boat to swim. I thought we'd get to visit the island for a bit. The second stop was also for us to swim. So other than the snorkeling this trip was only a catamaran ride.

Most relaxing day trip

Staff was very friendly, competent, and eager to please. The boat was clean and kept clean including the restrooms. The trip is well planned and timing at each location is just right. Unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and good amount and variety of food. The cost was slightly higher than others, but well worth it from what I saw. There is an additional US$20 charged for immigration plus tip (end of trip)
