It was a good tour, our driver was really great and a good story teller !We were really disapointed by Stirling Castle (outside is nice but inside... empty and too modern)The lunch stop was pretty short (only 1h to order, get served, eat and go back to the bus) but we appreciated that we had the choice of the restaurant.Loch Lomond is okay (It was raining which is no help) but if you do not enjoy speed walks I would recommand you to do the short walk only. The distillery was interesting. The return point was different from the departure point and we did not get noticed, which we did not appreciate.

Nice little day trip, and we enjoyed getting out of Edinburgh to explore the surrounding areas, but the time spent at Stirling Castle (90 minutes) barely let us scratch the surface, and the entry fee was $20 per person. Then spent way too long (in our opinion) at Loch Lomond, where there's not much to do. Enjoyed Glengoyne Distillery. Would suggest extending the time at Stirling, a briefer stop for lunch at Loch Lomond, and including the entry fees to the castle and the distillery.

We had a wonderful time on this Full Day tour. Our guide was awesome! Stirling Castle, Trossachs National Park and finally Glengoyne Distillery were just brilliant! My Husband really enjoyed the nature walk too. We highly recommend this tour! When we return to Scotland; we will be using Viator again!

Great tour, our guide Allan was a perfect mix of information, story telling, and fun. The tour really does take the full day and covers a lot of ground. Stirling Castle was fantastic and the free guided tour was well worth it. Loch Lomond was nice, and the whisky tasting was more of a tour of the grounds that included whisky drinks. I'd highly recommend the tour, good value. The only area I wished improved are 1 the lunch stop was quaint but food choices were limited, and 2 if we had a bit more time in each stop it would be just right.

The tour guide Paul was amazing. He had a great personality and was very sociable. His knowledge was immense and he presented it well. Best way to see the highlands.

Our driver Iain was delightful, enthusiasitic and full of little anecdotes as well as history to keep the day fully entertaining. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was nice being such a small group that allowed for some leisurely time to explore and take photos. The bGlencoyne distillery was a great, informative tour and we especially loved the breathtaking scenery at Stirling.

This was a great tour! It was a very cold day so we took a slightly different route than normal but the sun was out all day and we got wonderful clear skies. Stirling castle was not the most stunning but it had a very interesting history and there was a wonderful tour guide there who showed us around. In addition there were very interesting exhibits there and wonderful views of the countryside. The town where we had lunch was very small and there weren't too many options for vegetarians but I was able to find something at a coffee shop. In addition there is a grocery store with sandwiches, etc. The visit to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs was the highlight of the tour for me, with majestic views and a nice, if short, walk. The tour of Glengoyne Distillery was lovely, a great way to end the day. If you are interested in seeing the highlands or getting more time outdoors this is not the best tour, but it was a good way to see a little bit of everything for those who don't have more than a day to spare.
