Explore the trendy Södermalm neighborhood aboard a Segway on this 2.5-hour shore excursion. With a small group of 10 people or less, glide around Lake Mälaren, admire spectacular vistas of Gamla Stan and visit Tantolunden and Via Bergen parks. With a choice of 3 different start times, this convenient tour will show you parts of Stockholm that the ordinary tourist doesn't see. This excursion is covered by Viator's worry-free policy.
After disembarking your ship at Stockholm's cruise port, make your way to Södermalm, a neighborhood in the center of Stockholm, to meet your guide. Listen to a brief orientation session, where you'll get to know your self-balancing electric Segway. Don your helmet, climb on and get a little practice before taking off down Stockholm's city streets.
Travel to Fjällgatan, a popular lookout point that provides views of the entire city, including the medieval Gamla Stan, or Old Town. Watch boats glide into the harbor and pull out your camera for a few photo ops before moving on.
Weave through the streets, past Vita Bergen park and through Stockholm's residential neighborhoods where the streets are lined with cafes and traditional wooden houses. Take a break at one of the little corner shops for a strong cup of coffee (own expense) like the locals.
Continue to Årstaviken, a waterside district with winding streets that make for relaxing strolling (or rolling.) Glide along the banks of Lake Mälaren among the gardens, stopping for photos as you like. Then move on to Tantolunden, another leafy local park, and back to your starting point in Södermalm after your 2.5-hour Segway tour.
