Receive a morning pickup from either Shinjuku (Tokyo Metropolitan Underground Car Park) or Ueno (No.1 Car of Ueno Park), after which you’ll travel aboard a coach bus to reach the scenic Gunma Prefecture region to see the Fukiware-no-taki Falls.
Next up is a visit to Tambara Lavender Park, the only flower park of its kind within day trip distance of Tokyo. Marvel at the fields of brilliant purple flowers before visiting the selection of stores and cafes nearby selling a range of lavender-infused products. One local favorite is the lavender-flavored ice cream, a local product that’s hard to find elsewhere in Japan.
Afterward, head to a fruit orchard near the town of Numata, allowing you to pick some fresh seasonal peaches at a local farm. As you gather some fruit, you’ll also learn about the area’s renowned fruit and vegetable-growing industry. You can even take two included peaches home with you when you leave.
Then head back to Tokyo. You’ll be dropped off at your original starting point.
