Andy had great local knowledge including the culture and life in Japan. Was great to cycle around local neighbourhoods wouldn't normally get to see. Lunch and snacks were all lovely, good mix of local food. Great communication with email day before confirming details and then after your with details of the day (alot to remember otherwise!!) and recommendations of other sights and tours to see. Great experience, definitely recommend doing!

Get off the beaten track, see, breath and taste a Tokyo, hiding just below the tracks. Bike through quiet streets West Tokyo where you see this buzzing city at a less frenetic pace.

Andy was an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable local guide . We hiked through local neighborhoods along a route it would be very difficult to describe. The local snacks were interesting and delicious . A great way to experience a little of the real Tokyo!

    Awesome bloke, awesome tour.

Having spent my first 2 days in Tokyo trudging around the usual ‘tourist’ haunts and getting a scripted overview of stuff Andy tour was a massive relief. He shared an insiders view of life as an expat and takes you off the beaten track for a tour of his neighbourhoods in the city’s suburbs. It was an enriching experience that takes you through narrow streets, alleys, a river, park, food shops, a dated (authentic) mall and an arcade. There are frequent stops where Andy picks out points of interest and talks about life in Tokyo, food, restaurants and Japanese culture.

Hi 'Z4than', Thanks for coming out on the bikes that day and leaving a comment on our ride, it's always greatly appreciated. Really happy to hear that you enjoyed our time in the local area with a bit of light hearted commentary. I hope you enjoyed the 2nd leg of the trip and I'm onto that research for you and will be in touch soon, Andy!
