However, 3 hours is not enough for the Niagara Falls, especially if you choose the cruise option.

Awesome guide, very organised.

The guide we had was awesome. He was hilarious and very informative. He even put in a quiet time/nap time for us as we returned back to Toronto after a long day! We started on time and he set the pace really well, telling us about what we were going to be doing through the whole day. We were given plenty of rest breaks and taken to a very cute town where you could get ice cream and stretch your legs. He gave us maple cookies on the way back and was up front about all of the tour things we would be doing. Through the whole bus ride he made sure to bring the places to life, pointing out different landmarks, telling us stories about who'd tried to go down the falls and even stories about how a Canadian chocolate company was named! It was really interesting. They also sold the Niagra falls observatory tower tickets for cheaper than at the gate which was greatly appreciated. Great tour :)

Trip to Niagara Falla in winter

The bus transport from Ripley's Aquarium to Niagara Falls left on time, though this was a long trip with multiple stops to reach final destination. The weather was unfortunately not ideal, it rained all the way to the falls and there was a dense cover of fog that descended on the falls the whole time we were there. The bus was old and wasn't able to defog the windows so there were no views to follow the excellent commentary from our very knowledgable tour guide/bus driver. Overall, better to plan this trip in summer, a much better value for monety proposition as the trip is expensive for a family of adults.

You should choose this tour if you don't know where to start in Niagara Falls, and how to get to those tourist attractions. They drives you there, inform you with interesting facts of the places. There are also some free time (around an hour) in each destinations, for you to eat, relax, and explore on your own. Highly recommended purchase the Skylon Towers Ticket. The cruise, you can skip if you want to save money.

Mel was an excellent tour guide that made our trip to Niagara easy, entertaining and informative. We loved it! It was well worth the money for our family, we had bottled water included, cheaper Skylon tickets and a ride to all the attractions on the outskirts of the Falls like the flower clock.

Right from the start of the tour it was clear that our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He really made us feel welcomed. The itinerary was well planned and did not feel rushed at all, allowing us to check all the most interesting points in the Niagara area. All in all it was a great experience and certainly well worth the price.

The drive itself, full of information, all the sights we stopped at and the scenic route to Niagara was great. Would have liked a little more time at Niagara on the Lake - there wasn't enough time to go into the shops, get a bite to eat as well as to visit the washrooms. Also, a stop at a winery would have been good - one that has a gift store.

Our guide, Mel, was great! Very informative/knowledgeable. We did the boat tour and Skylon Tower. The 1.5 hour ride there and back was comfortable. After the skylon tower and boat tour we made several small stops along the way due to the majority of the time spend on the skylon tower and boat tour. We drove by the small chapel (due to a snowstorm) instead of getting off and trudging through snow (which everyone on the bus was okay with). Overall an excellent tour! If you have the time, I definitely recommend it! Adding on the boat tour is a MUST!
