This is a great trip. It snowed the night before and being at Garni temple early was magical. The monastery was interesting and Lake Sevan is beautiful. Driver and guide both were perfect!

A fantastic tour to three wonderful sites. We moved at a very reasonable pace and enjoyed one of the best meals on our trip right outside of the Gegard Monestary. Many thanks to our kind and informative guide -- it's a real treat to see the mountains and countryside as a complement to a trip to Yerevan.

Excellent tour at exactly the right pace, not to slow and boring but enough time to enjoy the sites we visited. It was off season so only two of us on the tour so a very personal experience from the guide. A great way to give you a snapshot of the country

Professional guide but we have been let down by Viator

Day Trip to Tatev Monastery | Feb 2020
I can only comment here that the guide booked for our trip, Nvard, was very professional (and would be worth a 5* review). She first contacted us a coupe of days before our planned trip to say that there had been heavy snow on a high pass on the road south towards Tatev. The day before she let us know that there was still a possibility that the trip would be cancelled She offered an alternative date but we already had plans for our stay in Yerevan. Later she sent a message saying we would be able to go ahead. Unfortunately, on the day of our trip she had to cancel the trip to Tatev as it was not possible to clear drifting snow on another pass. This was disappointing but clearly outside Nvard's control. She had to consider our safety when making this decision. Nvard reported the cancellation to Viator and told us thay would be in contact to arrange a full refund. Alas, not contact or refund to my card account (0* for Viator)

Our driver arrived 30 minutes late to pick us up. While heading to Tbilisi he drove at speed of 90 when the restriction was 30, passed other cars in terrible way and at border inspections we waited for him standing an hour with luggeges. He commented having some problems with car insuranse...

One way private Transfer Yerevan-Tbilisi | Jun 2019
Tigran our driver was very entertaining and very passionate student of History. We got more information about Armenia and Georgia in the 5 hour journey than the 3-4 day tours that we took. I would not hesitate to reccomend Tigran to anyone, infact I would encourage Tigran to live his passion as a guide.

The most important place to visit in Yerevan is Echmiatsin Cathedral and the churches inside with the tombs.

Day Tour to Sevan Lake, Tsakhkadzor Rope Way and Kecharis Monastery in Armenia | Jan 2017

This was my favourite tour because it was just my friend and I, with a guide and driver. Our guide was exceptional, she spoke excellent English and knew so much about the places we visited. The lake and monastery were stunning, especially since everything was snow-covered... real picture-postcard scenery! The mountains are so beautiful and the cable car allows great views. The second monastery is also fascinating. I recommend this trip! Only downside... I was worried about our guide not wearing a seatbelt the whole journey... I should have said something but was too British about it. So much safer for everyone in the vehicle if everyone is strapped in!

10-Day Exploration of Armenia and Nagorno Kharabagh | Sep 2016

The trip was wonderful it was the best trip I have been on. The tour guide Nvard and out driver Tigran were the best ever. They were both very knowledgeable and the tour was awesome. I reccommend this tour for everyone. This tour included the hotel, food and entrance fees. I was very impressed and I am planning on going back to Armenia again. Just make sure that you ask for Nvard as your tour guide, she is the best. I felt at home with them and we still keep in touch. I love Nvard and Tigran.

Day Tour to Sevan Lake, Tsakhkadzor Rope Way and Kecharis Monastery in Armenia | May 2016

Another perfect tour guided by Nvard! Aside from volunteering as my photographer, she also paid for all the entrance fees. She even emailed me my photos, which is great!

First off, Lake Sevan is breath-taking even it was raining when we got there. Yip, the weather is crazy..it's changing like every 5 minutes! It rains, then it gets sunny then it will just pour..hailstorm even! So bring with you winter jacket with hoodies, and wear comfortable sneakers! It was Sunday when we went there, and we were lucky to have witness their mass in the chapel.

As for Tzakhkadzor ropeway, it was a great experience for me as a first timer. It is an open seat/ride. It's like riding in a theme park ride, only that it is slow so you can admire the sceneries around you. All the mountains with snow in the vicinity are soothing for the eyes and senses.

Kecharis Monastery is indeed one of Armenian treasure, one of their 101 monasteries! A monastery that is strong enough to still stand since year BC until now.

Nvard, the tour guide is such a nice lady. She speaks English well and is very knowledgeable about every place and it's history. She even volunteered to be my photographer because I am a solo traveller. I greatly enjoyed this tour!
