Reviews by Viator travellers
Saghmosavank and Amberd
, Nov 2019
The church at Saghmosavank and the canyon in the nature surrounding it, is stunning. The ruins of the Amberd fortress with the church nearby are also worth a visit - not to be missed.
Excellent tour

Excellent tour! Very good driver and I am happy that I went with Sergey. He has a comfortable car, speaks good English and will tell you some facts along the way. The stops were impressive. I basically took this tour mainly to visit Amberd and I highly recommend this way to go to the fortress.

Tatev,Shaki(waterfall),Noravank,Wine tasting,Khor Virap | Feb 2020
The tour was a long drive, but it was awesome. The driver guide was very friendly and accommodating. The lunch which was included on the tour was also very good and tasty. The only thing unfortunate was the fact that we did not get to see shaki waterfalls and experience the cable car due to bad weather condition. Beyond that, trip to Tatev was wonderful.

A great way to spend the day in Armenia

Tatev,Shaki(waterfall),Noravank,Wine tasting,Khor Virap | Jan 2020
I enjoyed this full day tour and by full day, I do mean full day, expect to be gone all day. The day I went was a snowy day which provided for stunning views of the monasteries visited. I took this tour as it would allow me to see the beautiful monastery of Tatev and I was not disappointed. The driver/guide is both informative and friendly and this tour was definitely worth the price.

Wonderful scenery

Tatev,Shaki(waterfall),Noravank,Wine tasting,Khor Virap | Oct 2019
This trip was easily the highlight of our Armenia tour. The places this tour visits, as well as the scenery in between were amazing. Sergey was a nice tour guide, always gave us appropriate information and time to explore all the places. His car was very comfortable as well. Overall it was a great experience.

Comfortable and Smooth Transfer from Tbilisi to Yerevan on 2019/10/23, Wed

Transfer Tbilisi/Yerevan/Tbilisi | Oct 2019
After picking us up at Holiday Inn, Tbilisi, our driver told us it would take an hour to the border and then 3.5 hours to Yerevan. When arriving at the Armenian border, our driver lent us AMD20,000 in case we need to pay the visa fee. When arriving at a convenience shop for toilet stop, our driver offered to lend us some AMD so that we may buy something. During the trip, he kept updating us the progress and when we would actually arrive at our hotel. When arriving at our hotel in Yerevan, he retrieved our luggage and brought to the check in counter. So, the transfer was great and smooth. My wife and I appreciated his excellent service very much.

Tour to Khor Virap

Khor Virap | Sep 2019
Nice driver, good car, on time. So far 5 stars. The deduction I give for the following. The tour is marketed as "with English speaking driver/guide". The driver I had spoke very little English and as I don't speak Armenian or Russian communication was very difficult and no information was given (what I expected based on the previous reviews).

A Quick Trip from Yerevan to Tbilisi and Back

Transfer from Yerevan to Tbilisi with tours | Sep 2019
We spent 8 days in Yerevan and wanted to have a taste of Georgia. Our guide and driver, Sergey, made it possible for us to take a scenic route to Tbilisi and stop at the places that we wanted to see. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and punctual. We loved the trip back the next day, as he was again very accommodating to our needs and we managed to see a lot of places that were on our bucket list both in Georgia and Armenia.

Probably the best private tour I've ever had

Khor Virap | Aug 2019
Sergey was an excellent private tour guide! Total value for money! He was super helpful and provided so many valuable tips to have a wonderful holiday. But more importantly, he was willing to answer every question I had during the entire tour, and I must say that my understanding of Armenian history & culture is a lot better now thanks to Sergey. His friendly demeanor mad the overall trip and experience quite memorable. I'd certainly recommend this tour to everyone.
