Whether you are a whisky aficionado or a complete novice, this Whisky Trail has something for everyone. You will be picked up from where you are staying and transported in comfort, safety, and style to Speyside. This is a private tour and only your group will participate.
If you book between April and October you will visit the big three Speyside distilleries, namely The Macallan, Glenlivet, and Glenfiddich. The agenda is flexible so depending on whether you have chosen to book a tour at one of the distilleries, we will agree the timing for your day before setting off together.
PLEASE NOTE: the Glenlivet Distillery closes from November to March and therefore an alternative distillery will be agreed with you if you decide to book during these months.
At the end of the Whisky Trail, we will head back to your starting point or another location by prior arrangement.
NOTE: Depending on your starting location, the round trip from your location to Speyside could be as much as seven hours.

This Whisky Trail will transport you in comfort, safety, and style to the North East of Scotland and to three Highland whisky distilleries, namely Balblair, Glenmorangie, and The Dalmore for a series of tastings. You have the option of switching one or more of these with Clynelish or Glen Ord Distilleries should you wish to do so.
No tour of this part of Scotland would be complete without a visit to the Dornoch Castle Whisky Bar where they have over 450 world whiskies for you to sample from. This is also a very good place to enjoy a hearty lunch with your dram.

The Whisky River Experience combines one of the adventures of rafting one of Scotland's great rivers with the tasting of some of Scotlands best whisky. The Aberfeldy distillery is one of the best distilleries in Scotland. A fantastic local lunch in-between the two great experiences compliments the day.
The River Tay Rafting is a 6-mile rafting trip from Aberfeldy to Grandtully on Scotlands largest river the River Tay. You will be on rafts of up to 10 people plus guide per raft. We provide all the equipment. The guides will entertain you with local knowledge combined with some adventure fun on the river.
Lunch will be at the fantastic Tay Cafe just 200 meters walk from our rafting base.
The Cask Tasting Distillery tour is at Aberfeldy distillery also 200 meters walk from our rafting base.

There is a heap of lovely stones to be found in every grit bucket and there are identification charts to help you see what you've found. Gold Panning is fun & addictive for all ages, and whatever you find you take home!

If you are relatively new to the sport of canyoning, this half-day excursion from Aberfeldy will have you feeling confident in no time. Head to nearby Keltneyburn with your guide and, under their close supervision, try gorge walking, jumping off rocky cliffs, scrambling along rivers, and sliding down river chutes, and swimming in naturally beautiful surroundings—as much or as little as you want. Includes wet suits and all safety equipment.
Choose white-water rafting or “river bugging” on the River Tummel. River bugs are personal rafts that resemble large inflatable armchairs. The river is mostly composed of class two and three rapids, with one exciting class four drop near the end. Working together as a team, you and your raftmates will navigate this scenic Scottish landscape.

Experience two thrilling water-based activities in one day on this white-water rafting and canyoning adventure from Aberfeldy. With wet suits and all safety gear included on your tour, tackle the beginner-friendly rapids of the River Tay and enjoy wet and wild canyoning at Keltneyburn. Your guide is on hand to capture your rafting adventure on camera, to share with you at the end. No previous rafting experience is necessary.
