From wherever you look at it, Burgas is surrounded by water - to the east is the Black Sea, and to the west of the seashore, there are three different lakes - Burgas, Atanasovsko and Mandrensko. They form the largest complex of natural wetlands in Bulgaria where 340 of all 430 bird species in the country are located. We will observe interesting, rare and endangered species and we’ll venture into the protected areas. We will visit the fishing village of Chengene Skele - a unique place that keeps the spirit of the old fishermen.
