We will arrive at Pico Do Arieiro in the afternoon. You will have time to hike to Pico Ruivo, set up the tent and appreciate the most stunning sunset from the top of the island. We will pick you to take you back to your accommodation the next day in the late morning to give you time to appreciate the amazing sunrise and hike back to Pico Do Arieiro.It includes the rent of a backpack with all that you need: a tent, an air mattress, a sleeping bag, and a camping chair. Plus, we will handle for you to send your information to the tourism office about the camping, which is required by law.It is a hike that takes 6 hours (in total), but we will pick you after 7 hours to give you time to stay awhile at the top, appreciate the landscape, rest and take amazing pictures.Pico Ruivo, with 1862 meters of altitude is the highest mountain in Madeira Island. To access the peak you must arrive walking. The absolute best way is from Pico do Arieiro (the 3rd highest mountain with 1810 meters).
