Approximately 80 km north of Ilulissat is the Eqi glacier. It will take us approximately 2-2,5 hours to reach the glacier. On the way we will pass icebergs, the small Settlement Oqaatsut and hopefully also whales.
When arriving to the area we will see how close we can get to the glacier. The glacier is very productive so it might happen that the are is full of ice. We might also be lucky so we can get really close to the glacier. It is up to Nature.
When we have found a good place we will turn off the engine and watch for falling ice. We will enjoy a lunch, most likely a sandwich, and coffee/tea while listening to the glacier making loud noises.
