Hiking in middle of the night in the Arctic is absolutely fantastic. Its a very special experience to see the Sun turning back before reaching the horizon while hiking into the wilderness. In our region the Sun is up all day long from 25 th May to 18th July.
We will have an medium-challenging hike to a mountain in Austvågøy island in Vågan municipality. This tour will take about 3-4 hours return.
We park the car at the base of the mountain where we start the hike.The mountain top lays on the hight of 711 masl. It is a medium-challenging route for those whose fitness level is at least on a moderate level. On the top we will enjoy 360 degrees views while tasting some local snacks. After we have enjoyed the breathtaking views from the top, we'll hike down back on the same route from where we came.

The dive programs are individually suited to our guest’s skill levels and diving qualifications. The dive sites we offer are ideal not only for experienced divers but also for beginners. You can see beautiful kelp forests, fields of algae, spectacular jellyfish, urchins and starfish, not to mention large fish species such as: halibut, cod, wolfish or flounder. In a 'Day Tours' you can choose between 1 dive or 1 diving-day with 2 dives.
If you have a friend or family who are not certified diver and would also like to experience arctic water they are welcome to join the “Snorkeling Trip” which is conducted with our diving programs so you can still enjoy the day together:-)
This is a guided fishing trip with all equipment included. it's sport fishing with quite heavy equipment, so it might not be suitable for children, it depends how strong they are of course.
after the fishing trip you have the opertunity to get you favorite catch of the day printed on to paper with paint, the result is a beautifull painting of your fish that you can bring home! (not included in the price)
you can also get a course in fileting where i also show and explain how we process the fish to make stockfish and how we make smoked fish. (not included in the price)
This is a great opportunity for people who don't ski to access the winter mountains but would like to enjoy the amazing raw nature in the wilderness. We meet in the parking lot where we introduce each other and talk about the plan over a map. After a short intro about the equipment and the itinerary we will get started and go to the famously beautiful mountain called Ryten. Then at a comfortable pace we will walk up to the top of the mountain and enjoy breathtaking nature and views. We have a high chance to see local wildlife, such as eagles and grouse. Depending on the physical ability and fitness of the group, weather and snow conditions, the tour will vary between 3,5 and 5,5 hours.

Spend half a day paddling around this charming island, rich in Norwegian culture and amazing landscape. If we are lucky, we will meet wildlife along the way and observe sea eagles, river otters, porpoises and more!
