Take on Haleakala, one of Maui’s most imposing, and beautiful, dormant volcanoes, during this 8-hour hike. Challenge yourself with this 11.3-mile (18.1-kilometer) trip at 10,000 feet (3,000 meters) of altitude, traveling down into the crater of this rugged volcano. As you walk, you’ll enjoy magnificent views and observe local plant and animal life like the spiny ‘Ahinahina’ (Silversword).
