Colosseum Underground and Ancient Rome Semi-Private Tour MAX 6 PEOPLE GUARANTEED

Dario was an enthusiastic guide for our small tour of 6. He was knowledgeable, showing us illustrations throughout the 3-hour tour which were helpful to our understanding of the Forum and Colosseum. We did not see any other guides doing this. Dario was also concerned for our safety while walking on uneven surfaces and amongst throngs of people. We highly recommend a semi-private tour like this. It is well worth the additional cost.

Small-Group Ancient Rome and Colosseum Underground Tour

Not my first tour of the Colosseum and I still learned a lot. Access to new areas that have opened up since before Covid and as ever you can really feel the atmosphere. Not the cheapest tour perhaps but great value. The guide (herself an archeologist) was clearly very passionate.

Colosseum Underground and Ancient Rome Semi-Private Tour MAX 6 PEOPLE GUARANTEED

This was a fantastic tour. They had just completed the walkways through the floor of the Colosseum during Covid. My kids are major history buffs and the guide was excellent with them. We all learned a lot and we were able to see things that were available because of our small group. I would not recommend for little little kids as it is a lot of walking and not stroller friendly. If your kids or you are into history this a great tour.

Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum Guided Tour | Skip the Line Tickets

The tour was pretty good. Our Russian tour guide Katerina was sweet and had great knowledge. The head sets did not work but she tried everything to make it work. I don’t know why the head sets didn’t work and we weren’t able to use them. The tour was pretty fast but she went threw everything in the colosseum and the roman forum but we did not have time for the palatine hill which was optional to go if we had time. Our kids learned a ton and she tried her best to make it fun for everyone.

Nico was an amazing guide, filled with energy and joy about the history of the Colosseum. I would recommend taking the evening tour as the space is less crowded.

Gladiator’s Gate: Special Access Colosseum Tour with Arena Floor

The Colosseum was absolutely amazing. We were so glad we did the Arena Floor experience as it provided a greater insight into the history of the Colosseum. Paolo (not sure of correct spelling) was very passionate about the history and tried to create an impression of what it would have been like in the Roman days. We would have liked more time at the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Unfortunately, we lost some time in this area due to some issues with people on the tour.
