We were picked up at our Hotel in a minivan, tour guide was informative. Tour of the downtown core which was very informative, to the Gardens to walk around for awhile, then to Table Mountain, although, we did not go up this day as the weather was very cloudy, so, went to Signal Hill, Noon gun did not go off as it was Sunday, took pictures from Signal Hill, then dropped us off at the Waterfront instead of our Hotel. Driver was very obliging to do what we wanted to do after the tour ended.

Dumped over 2 hours early by guide who sat and watched rugby

The guide, Nathaniel, started out well, but when we got to the diamond tour (where they want to sell you jewelry), he sat and watched a rugby match on TV. All 5 of the tourists stood there waiting, and he didn't budge. So we missed the NOON gun. Then he dropped off 1 lady at her hotel close to NOON..when the tour was to end at 14:30-14;45. We asked to go to the Hard Rock at Camps Bay because we had extra time and he agreed and said he would drop us off at our hotels afterwards. We got to the Hard Rock at 12:15 and he DUMPED and stranded us there, saying (untruthfully) that he had to pick up another tour at 12:30! How is he picking up a tour at 12:30 when ours is supposed to go until at least 14:30? We paid $30 for an Uber to take us and the 2 other tourists he abandoned back to the central area! HyltonRoss customer service was terrible too and refunded me $34 of a $96 tour. They basically repaid the Uber but didn't acknowledge or compensate missing parts of the tour and the time. I will never book a tour with the provider, Hylton Ross Tours again and don't recommend this company.
