Continue to Korčula, said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. Visit the 15th-century St. Marks Cathedral and don't miss the Three Saints altarpiece by Venetian painter Tintoretto.
You'll also visit Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula, famed for its wine production, and then continue on to Slano to spend the night. This was our first 'cruise'. Viator have been good for us in the past, and this was no exception. Iva at Gulliver Travel Dubrovnik was of great assistance before we even got on board. The boat was clean, tidy, and well coordinated/organised. The staff were great. Good local wine, draft beer and food. A little variety at breakfast maybe, would be the only suggestion. The boat was a good size for us not a large ocean liner with 6000 on board and the 26 of us were made welcome and enjoyed the boat, scenery and islands visited. Thanks also to the 'Kapitane' who found us swimming spots along the way and for not minding someone who tried to impersonate him. It just had to be done!!!! ..... Such was the rapport between the staff and passengers. Highly recommended. Would do it again.

We had a great tour for the past 8 nights. We saw several villages, towns, a national park, Dubrovnik and enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear water. The boat was not full so we had plenty of space. We travelled with friends and found the other guests friendly. The food and service was great The only issue we had was with smokers. There were several times when we smelt smoke in our cabin coming through the air conditioner. As we are reformed smokers ourselves we resent that we were made passive smokers after paying for the trip same as everyone else. I would not bother with the bike ride around the salt lake.

This was a great trip! I'd researched various cruises and this appeared to visit most of the places I wanted to see in Croatia the Dalmatian Islands and coastline. As a single parent, with two children we enjoyed a routine of cruise, swimming in the mornings and sightseeing in the afternoons! The crew went out of their way in meal preparation, plain friendliness and customer service. They were all more than willing to share the history of Croatia or their own stories a number of the crew served in the Croatian military, during the war!. There were a number of families with children, from France. They were exceptionally friendly and we soon were spending much of our time together, including our dinners in the towns we visited at night there is only one dinner included in the cruise! It was sometimes a challenge finding a restaurant, that suited everybody's price range and types of food Seafood is popular on the coast and not everyone in our group ate it but, it always ended up being part of the adventures! The cruise director, Bruno, was a tremendous asset and help also. Some of the non-English speaking passengers did not always understand the itinerary and would be upset. Bruno did his best to help everyone and include them in activities, even when they were late to sign up for them. This will be a great memory, for my children and myself!

I would thoroughly recommend this tour - it is the perfect way to see Croatia as it stops at loads of islands. The crew were fantastic, food was very tasty and the accommodation was great. The boat stopped at coves and inlets so you could swim each day as well as stopping at picturesque towns. We even joined the cycling tour on a few occassions, which was spectacular - definitely worth hiring bikes to explore the islands. Overall, my partner and I had the best vacation so far and would recommend it to everyone!

This journey was a genuine surprise. We booked it without earlier experience of such adventures and it was great. Staff were helpful, food was good, accommodation opening onto the deck was fine and the few days sailing the Dalmatian Cost was a dream. We are Australian and we found that most fellow passengers were keen cyclists and had booked a package and guide allowing them to do that when we stopped. Few spoke english but we managed OK. Suggest enquirers check out these aspects. A great experience overall. Terry and Lorraine Australai
