A boat ride over to Dubrovnik followed by the tour guide walking us through the city showing pictures of scenes that were recorded at various locations. This was a great way to see and recall the scenes rather than just verbal explanation.
We really enjoyed it even though we walked the city in the wall ahead of time.
This experience was awesome! The boat was amazing and the little sail from new to old ports beautiful at sunset - incredible to see the giant boat pull into the old port!!! The costumes were great fun and well made. The walking tour of Dubrovnik Old Town was well done and gave some real history too - our Khalessi was great!
It rained all day, we were wet and skeptical for this tour but it turned out to be a good craic in the end. Don’t take yourself too seriously, go with the flow, have a laugh. The walking part of the tour was very informative, Darko the guide was an extra in GOT so he knew his stuff. The costumes for the staff on the boat could have been better. They looked nothing like any characters from GOT. Also the meeting point for the boat could have been clearer. It states to meet at the port but really it should say look out for the Karaka boat (massive pirate ship) and meet there. All in all we were pleased though.
Disappointed by forewarning of changes based on weather

We were very excited to do the Game of Thrones Cruise Tour (on an actual boat used in GoT filming), followed by a walking tour of the old town... sadly the weather hadn't been great that week and WE were aware that the weather forecast was for rain that evening - but we had pre-booked tickets and were still keen to see the old town, the coastline and our hotel from the boat regardless. It wasn't until we were ON the boat and had set sail that we were told the cruise wouldn't leave the bay and we wouldn't be sailing past the old town etc etc. The lack of forewarning, planning or even rescheduling/cancelling (as described in their T&Cs) was very disappointing and took away our ability to decide whether we wanted to continue with the tour or not.
I am not denying that the sea was choppy, but they would have known they wouldn't be sailing out of the bay BEFORE we left and should have told us first.
The cruise involved a cocktail (which was nice for me, but my pregnant wife was not offered a non-alcoholic alternative), there was a lot of encouragement to try on GoT fancy dress (this seemed to be the main focus of this part of the tour), and the tour guide was fairly knowledgable of the GoT filming locations and provided some interesting information - she did well despite the wind and rain.
Following a short cruise around the harbour we docked and boarded coaches to the old town with some GoT commentary from the tour guide on the way. We politely declined to join for the remainder of the walking tour with the poor weather (and having attended a last minute private GoT tour the day before).
I would recommend this cruise and walking tour if attending during good weather and calm seas. I am however very disappointed that they did not reschedule, cancel or forewarn us that the cruise was essentially not happening (beyond a circuit of the uninteresting harbour) based on the weather - it was clearly not a last second decision but one made before we left.
The tour was excellent with the boat cruise and the walking tour. Our guide was excellent and gave so much insight to the different scenes and some background. Issue I would raise was the meeting point. it would have been helpful if instead of saying Port Gruz, one could pin point the meeting location, e.g. in front of the Green Market.
