Meet your guide at your hotel in central Jaco prior to an 8 a.m. or 11 a.m. tour and drive five minutes to the base of the waterfall with your small group of 10 people or fewer. Upon arrival, prepare for your adventure with a training session, safety briefing, and gear check that will ensure your confidence on the ascent.
Begin your adventure by climbing up the rocks around a 164-foot (50-meter) waterfall using rappelling equipment, facing the white water the whole time. Upon reaching the top, fly over the transitional forest on a zipline and then slow it down for a walk across a hanging sky bridge.
Descend to the forest floor for a quarter-mile (400-meter) walk along a nature trail, learning about the local flora and fauna as you go from a guide with extensive knowledge about the regional ecosystem.
Transfer back to your hotel roughly three hours after pickup.
