Return Details

Returns to original departure point at approximately 5pm
After greeting your guide at a central Liverpool spot, you’ll don a protective helmet, climb onto your bike and start your tour. Begin by receiving an introduction to the Beatles from your guide: hear of when ‘Beatlemania’ gripped the entire world, and how John, Paul, RIngo and George went on to become one of the most successful bands of all time.

At a leisurely pace, you’ll visit locations associated with the Beatles; see the high school at which Paul McCartney and George Harrison studied, stop outside John Lennon’s art college and hear tales of Stuart Sutcliffee, a bassist often referred to as ‘the fifth Beatle’.

Discover George Harrison’s love for the Palm House during a stop outside the elaborate structure; spot landmarks mentioned in the famous song Penny Lane; and then revitalize with refreshments (own expense) at Dovedale Towers pub, above which Freddie Mercury reputedly lived during the 60’s.

Next, continue to schools attended by the band members, and visit St Peter’s Church Hall, the place John and Paul first met. See, too, the grave of Eleanor Rigby, Strawberry Field and Paul’s former home.

After a 3-5-hour ride, return to your original departure point and bid your guide farewell.

The tour was awesome, really. Warm and careful greetings and tour, insightful details, nice and relaxed atmosphere, attention to safety... You get the additional bonus of an active tour thanks to the bikes. The only issue was with viator surprisingly : received a confirmation with a voucher, then an email saying it may get confirmed later, then nothing. Cherry on the cake :it was impossible to the get precise address of the departure - only 'central liverpool' : we had to download the voucher in the applewallet to get the full address as the address in the online voucher was cut.

We had a wonderful time riding around Liverpool. Sadly, our ship came into port late and we were not able to do the whole tour. Our guide was helpful and flexible. The location is near the cruise ship dock, but not east to find. So, we took a short taxi ride while cost less than 10 pounds. After the bike ride, we were easily able to walk back through the docks and other museums.

Absolutely wonderful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. We enjoyed the cycling and the traffic was not that bad. Seeing the homes, schools and meeting places of the Beatles was memorable. We would highly recommend this tour.

I did not have a good experience on this tour. The pick up point is a very long walk from the pier and very difficult to find even when you are very close. The bike ride itself is a long 16 plus miles with hills. If you are not very fit, and used to riding a bicycle regularly, I do not recommend this trip. I booked it because I thought my grand-daughter would enjoy something different but of course, she didn't grow up with the Beatles and I heard that folks on the ship who stayed near the pier, saw more interesting things than we saw on a special Beatles tour. I did like our guide who is a teacher and did his best to help an old lady out but it was a very difficult day for me.

This is the best tour I did for my Europe trip and also the most daring. I have not ridden a bike in years prior to this tour and they made me feel very comfortable. They were also very patient with my slow riding skills uphill, downhill and everything in between. The guides have a lot of knowledge of the city and of course the Beatles, even sang a few songs while biking hehe. Definitely and Absolutely a must do!

What an awesome trip! Wasn't sure when we first arrived at the storage facility if we were at the right place, but our guide showed up on time. Turns out the bikes and supplies were all stored there. He was very knowledgeable in all things Beatles. Trivia, locations, all of it. This was one of the best excursions of my entire UK trip. I'd highly recommend it!

I loved, loved this tour. Liverpool on bike is a dream! The owner of the company, Phil, was our guide and he could not have been nicer. He was very knowledgeable and since it was just my daughter and I he let us have input on where we wanted to go. It was a great workout. It rained quite a bit and we went on for as long as we could before we had to take a train back. I am not much of a Beatles fan, but enjoyed hearing all the drama and seeing all the places that inspired their songs. One of my favorite days on holiday.

The tour was great. Phil couldn't have been nicer, or more professional. We were a group of five amateurs and had a wonderful time.
