Great trip

This was a very impressive trip! For anyone nervous about the hiking, don't worry! I myself am not too fond of steep hiking or even walking, but this was actually lots of fun! Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as we've had girls wearing high heels having trouble. The driver picked us up from close to where we were staying and brought us to the top of the waterfalls. From there on the tour started. It's an informative and comfortable walk, with our tourguide explaing lots of things and answering questions. You go all the way down to where the waterfall ends, where there is an optional, but highly recommended "boat ride". Be careful, you'll be soaked in seconds. After a short break, you will make your way all the way up again from the other side, where there is lots of opportunities for great pictures, seeing monkeys and rainbows and finally some lunch. After that the driver will pick you up to go back to Marrakech. I must say, our tourguidewas great with people, due to his quick humor and easy-going personality. He did, however, also keep us safe, by mentioning NOT to touch the monkeys, because they will likely bite you. They will come near you and get food provided by the locals (in exchange for a few Dirham). One monkey got over-excited and jumped on my back, which was pretty cool due to the pictures I got. I can only recommend this trip and tourguide.
Adventurous and awesome!

The 150 km ride from Marrakech is very confortable, you will aso walk thru the villages and meet the locals and discover their traditions. You will make a slightly challenging descent down the trails to the waterfalls but then climb more easily up the stairs where you will last be dazzled by the view of the waterfalls and feed animals in their natural habitat. Only disappointed that we we werent able to swim because of scheduling issues but other than that its amazing. You can check out a video I created on my Youtube channel "Dino Visuals" I guarantee you you will be convinced :)

Long journey from Marrakech, but there is a break half way for a drink and visit to the loo. Once at the falls, we met up with our guide Ibrahim who had great English, having lived in England. The walk down to the bottom of the falls is a bit precarious, take biscuits to feed the monkeys, who are extremely tame. What awaits you at the bottom is well worth it !!! Ibrahim has great knowledge, and is very friendly. After a raft trip cliser to the falls, the journey up the other side is alot easier as there are steps, over 600 of them, but ok taken at your own pace. Be warned though, don't order anything from the restaurant when you get up to the top, no prices are discussed before hand, and we were charged £20 each!!!! For chicken and a few fries!!!! Even the drinks were expensive!!! Other than that, it was a fab trip, highly recomended
Great day out!

Abraham, our tour guide for the falls was amazing! Funny, helpful, and knowledgable. Smaller groups needed! Spent alot of time wasted waiting for people to catch up, and listen. Great value for money! Please listen to the guides, and only jump in where told safe, and NOT HEAD FIRST! witnessed a horrific accident as he did not listen, hope he is fine.
Great Tour choice

Had a great time on this tour. Put your best walking shoes on cause it's a good amount of walking and stairs. Luis was a awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of the Moroccans and gave off an approachable personality. Would recommend this to anyone. 4 stars cause of the long drive.

A great day out from start to finish. Pick up was on schedule and journey was relatively comfortable with one comfort break on the way (and one on the way back). The guide, Ibrahim, was entertaining, very knowledgeable and made a point to let everyone know about the local scammers (charging for pictures with the monkeys). The falls were spectacular and the pontoon ride at the bottom was definitely worth the 20 Dirhams for the photo opportunities. The walk back to the top of the waterfall, via the monkeys, seemed a little difficult for some of the group so this trip may not be suitable for the less active. The lunch at the end was unspectacular for 100 Dirhams, but hey, you didn't travel 3 hours for the lunch. A couple of tips. Make sure you take your own toilet paper unless you are happy to go without! Also, take your own fruit to feed the monkeys at the waterfalls, they prefer it to the nuts on sale.
Rushed and rude!

The waterfall is stunning however after our walk (between 1 - 2hrs) to the the waterfalls everything was so rushed! We all wanted to spend a bit more time relaxing and enjoying ourselves however, our guide rushed us upstairs where we spent more time in the restaurant than anything else. I was looking forward to this trip but the group was too large, the guide wasn't great. I would not recommend this to anyone. Choose a different tour!!
Not worth the effort

Tour operator picked us up from the hotel on time. On arriving at the falls, three tour groups were combined into one large group with a single guide (30-40 people). The guide refused to tell us when the buses would be leaving so we couldn't go off on our own. We were then hered around the falls like sheep being told little information about the area, the guide seemed in a rush to take us to his restaurant where we were expected to pay 100 MAD for food, before being shown back to the bus. Overall, the falls are a disappointment, far to many tourists and locals trying to sell overpriced junk to visitors, the area around the falls is filled with ramshackle buildings and huts. Its really not worth the time or the money to visit

Would recommend this trip! Worth the money! Started off with a bit of a panic as the driver came to pick us up from our hotel late, we weren't sure if we had been left, I had to call 3 different numbers before I got in contact with someone who eventually told me the driver was on his way. But besides that, everything was great, long journey but there's a short break in between. We got to the place and had a good tour guide, got to see how the locals live, the falls are amazing and we got some beautiful photos, went on a little boat ride and fed the monkeys. Finished the day with food at a nice little restaurant. We went at the beginning of June and it was sooo hot so would recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen and also comfortable shoes for walking in.
Very beautiful place !

The road is long but worth it, the falls are just so beautiful ! Our guide Lachen was perfect and explaining everything very clearly ! He also didn't push any kind of sales and helped us with the monkeys without having to pay the guys that are there ! Very nice tour we appreciated !
