Your day begins with pick-up from your central Melbourne hotel by private vehicle. After meeting your private guide and discussing the day’s itinerary, set out south along the coast. Admire the views as you pass through the sloping vineyards, orchards, and patchwork farmlands of the Mornington Peninsula, then make your first stop at Arthur's Seat to enjoy the views across Port Phillip Bay.
Depending on your preferences, stop at several local wineries, where you’ll have chance to learn more about the region’s winemaking heritage, and taste varietals such as Victorian Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Shiraz. Of course, you shouldn’t drink on empty stomach, so the next stop will be at a restaurant or café for lunch (own expense) – be sure to ask your guide for their recommendation.
After lunch, get a taste of the peninsula’s gastronomic delights as you visit a dairy to try tasty goats cheese, stop by a strawberry farm to pick your own fresh fruits (from November to April only), and indulge in homemade chocolates and desserts at a chocolate factory. There will also be time to pause for a coffee break and indulge your sweet tooth with strawberry liqueurs, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and homemade jams.
Take a detour along Cape Schanck to admire the rugged coastline and ocean views, en-route to the day’s final destination – the Peninsula Hot Springs. The spa center is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing and you’ll have access to the 20 pools of steamy, mineral-rich water, renowned for their healing properties.
After a relaxing soak, return to Melbourne, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
