At 4pm, make your way to the Spielzeugmuseum near Munich’s Glockenspiel to meet your guide. With your group together, you’ll start the tour by listening to a short intro to Munich, its history, and the Old Town architecture that abounds.
Then, stroll to the bike shop where your bike awaits. Hop on and pedal behind your guide through Munich Old Town, discovering famous squares such as Odeonsplatz and Marienplatz with their landmark buildings.
Look out for the former royal palace of Munich Residenz, and admire the English Garden with its stately landscaped lawns as you cycle past. Roughly two hours after starting, you’ll stop to rest your legs in the Chinese Tower beer garden and refuel with food and drink (own expense).
After an hour-long break, you’ll return to the saddle for a ride alongside Isar River. Stop to see the Angel of Peace (Friedensengel) monument as well as other landmarks like the Bavarian parliament building, Volksbad swimming pool, St. Luke’s Church, and the Deutches Museum — one of the world’s largest technology and science museums.
Finally, work your way back to the Munich Hofbrauhaus, where your tour ends.
