We took the private tour of the old and New Delhi with Satyender Paul aka SP on 1 July. The tour proceeded at a leisurely pace giving a general overview of Delhi, its history, followed by the details of each site. SP gives you enough time walk and take pictures and was very patient in addressing all the questions that we have. On top of that, he warns you about possible negative experiences that you should avoid, which we truly appreciate. We were amazed by how well he remembered the details e.g. year, height, names etc. He displayed great knowledge and passion for India's history. Lastly, we feel very safe walking around the city with him and highly recommend tourists to contact him when they visit Delhi or the northern states of India.

This tour took me to all the major sights in Delhi however the guide did not know much of the history and on a number of occasions told me the wrong facts. My personal favourite thing that he told me was that Qutb Minar was 200 years old and also Humayun's Tomb was a copy of the Taj Mahal. It wasn't worth the huge price tag that I paid.
