Monaco is one of Europe’s most glamorous destinations, but it can be pricey to stay in Monte Carlo. A more convenient option is to visit on a small-group day tour from Nice, including highlights such as the Formula One Grand Prix track, Monte Carlo Casino and the Prince’s Palace; the Fragonard perfume factory in Eze; and the hilltop village of La Turbie.

Small-group tour limited to eight ensures a personalized experience
After being picked up from your central Nice hotel, meet your guide and small group of no more than eight, and set out east along the dramatic coastal roads. After a scenic drive, arrive in the medieval village of Eze, where you’ll have time to stroll the charming cobbled lanes, pretty gardens, and castle ruins. Before you leave, take a tour of the Fragonard perfume factory and learn the secrets of one of France’s most prestigious perfume brands. Continue to nearby La Turbie, where the star attraction is the dramatic ruin of the Trophy of the Alps, a 164-foot (50 meters) tall monument dating back to 6BC. After crossing the border into Monaco, head straight for Monte Carlo, where you’ll have the rest of the day to take in the highlights. Pose for photos by the landmark Rock of Monaco; watch the Changing of the Guards at the Prince’s Palace; admire architectural wonders such as the Justice Palace and Monte Carlo Cathedral; or visit the Oceanographic Museum (own expense). Finally, pay a visit to the world-famous Monte Carlo casino, built in 1878 by architect Charles Garnier, and drive around the legendary Grand Prix track, where the annual Formula One Monaco Grand Prix is held. After a full day taking in the highlights of the French Riviera, return to Nice, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

Maria was a great guide she was personable , knowledgeable and most of all she spoke English. She was a good driver and was concerned about pleasing everyone. I highly recommend her.
This was an AMAZING tour. Our guide/driver, Romanne was absolutely amazing!! She made this tour over the top!! She gave a lot of great history and commentary as we went along. She showed us the best spots to see the best sights. I loved her perspective and passion for travel and as a tour guide. Her love for travel is apparent.
The tour itself was fun. The sites were beautiful. The history was rich. The cities were wonderful. This was a great introduction to the French Riviera - the regions history and beauty all in one tour. I loved the perfume factory - very educational.
I highly recommend this tour. You wont be disappointed!!
An excellent guide and driver, just the best. He made sure we knew when and where to meet and explained everything. Only thing I found annoying was the stop at the perfume factory, no doubt some sort of commercial arrangement.
This tour is absolutely not worth the money because of our guise.
Our guide is not a guide but a driver. We got picked from the hotel and were driven to Eze were we had 45 minutes to climb to the top, sight see and come back. Not enough time. Then we went to Fragonard perfume factory where the factory's guide took us on a tour-it was actually interesting. Then we were driven to Monaco and dropped off for two hours-again, no actual tour. Just told to go see the change of the guards and maybe the oceanarium museum... When we got picked up we were taken to the casino and again-dropped off and taken an hour later. All I remember from the tour is how many cameras are in Monaco and prices of houses.
A couple of days later we got a 1.5 euro bus ticket to Eze and enjoyed the time WAY more than the tour
This was a great tour to see so much in 1 day. We were looking for a tour that would show us La Turbie and we got great views of the ruins here as well as numerous other hidden/little-known vista spots. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. He even did the tour in two languages as we had both English speakers and Russian speakers on the tour.
Our driver was friendly, but brought his partner along and when we were told a pick up time once we got into Monaco we waited an extra 40min because he did come back to pick us up at his designated time. Perfume factory was interesting, however they expect you to buy and it's not cheap!
This tour offered a good bargain. For the price, we got to visit Eze favorite stop, Parfumerie Fromagard, and Monaco. At the same time, I wasn't a huge fan of our tour guide. I felt like it was more of a driving service that she offered. She barely spoke to us in the van and did not give us a real breakdown of the day until we kept asking for it. Then she didn't provide much history or background on the areas we were visiting.
This was the perfect way to see the beautiful village of Eze and Monaco.our guide was Reno he made a good trip a great trip. Lots of local knowledge, fantastic picture opportunities. Reno was friendly and informative. We had plenty of time to explore the different stops on the trip and Reno gave us some good tips on where to go.it was a great day
Really great trip. Only myself and my boyfriend and another couple from Poland. Wonderful way to see the Riviera. There's no way we would have been able to see all of this on our own. Our driver even had Monaco license plates on the comfortable van, thus allowing us to drive past the guards and into the center of Monaco. Definitely worth the money and the time. : Thank you !!
