Encounter your tour guide and group of 25 fellow travelers at a pre-arranged meeting point outside the Louvre. A visit to the enormous museum can feel overwhelming, but you'll have an advantage: a carefully curated guided tour of the museum's highlights.
Begin with skip-the-line access, sailing past the crowds and into the museum's hallowed halls, where more than 35,000 pieces are currently on display. Follow your guide to see the "do not miss" artworks, such as the 'Mona Lisa,' the 'Venus de Milo,' and the 'Winged Victory of Samothrace.' Travel at a quick pace and listen to your guide's engaging commentary on the history and significance of these masterworks.
Following your Louvre tour, break for some free time and lunch (own expense). You’ll be walking distance from the Left Bank and the Latin Quarter, filled with bistros and restaurants begging to be explored.
Meet back up with your group and guide on the Ile de la Cité, the original heart of Paris and home to the famed Notre Dame Cathedral. Admire the Gothic architecture of the dramatic exterior and proceed to Sainte Chapelle and the Conciergerie to learn about medieval Paris.
After learning about the city’s beloved cathedral, board a riverboat for an evening cruise down the Seine. Again, bypass the lines of ticket buyers and find a seat on board for your relaxing excursion. Sail under some of the city’s most famous bridges and watch as landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, come into view. You tour ends after your cruise docks.
