We thoroughly enjoyed this walk. Our guide Vic was very knowledgeable about the gruesome history of Paris. She was friendly & happy for questions, she coped very well having a young girl video her from a foot away & having a group join us late. We would definitely recommend this
If you want to discover more about the darker and more macabre sides of Paris, I recommend taking this tour. If you are fortunate to get the excellent, knowledgeable and humorous Vic, you will have a wonderful evening - she really made the tour exceptional. When we asked her sidebar questions she really knew her history and was enthusiastic to talk about it.
We quite enjoyed the historical stories, facts and occasional splashes of trivia that are plentiful. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the tour lasts two hours and covers a lot of ground from the Île-de-Cité to Les Halles to Hotel da Ville.
This tour left us wanting to learn more about the history of Paris and hopefully see this tour expand to the Latin Quarter and Montmartre!
