Snorkel among colorful coral and schools of tropical fish
Make your way to Dock Maarten in Philipsburg to board the 65-foot (20-meter) catamaran Captain Morgan. Meet your experienced captain and friendly crew, then find a comfortable spot to soak up the sun and island breeze as the boat releases its moorings.
Sail down the south coast of the island, taking advantage of your marine vantage point for fantastic photos of the island's shoreline. When the boat stops at the snorkel spot, don your provided mask, fins and snorkel. Jump in and get views of the underwater scenery, including live coral reefs and schools of brilliantly colored fish flitting by. Float weightlessly in the clear, warm waters; your snorkeling guide will be nearby for any questions.
Back on the boat, eat a lunch of homemade sandwiches accompanied by an open bar of rum punch and nonalcoholic refreshments. Lounge in the sun and listen to music through the onboard sound system.
Snorkeling and sailing on Captain Morgan was another memorable highlight during our visit in St Maarten! We didn't see lots of fish during the snorkel but it was fun to see the sunken helicopter, plane and submarine during the snorkeling in Little Bay. The crew was great, rum punch was plentiful and the sailing was awesome. Loved it!
