Once your cruise ship docks at St Maarten's port, find your way to Simpson Bay, about 6 miles (9.5 kilometers) west of the cruise port.
Meet your friendly captain and crew, then hop aboard the 54-foot (16-meter) 'Random Wind', a luxury sailboat that will be your home base for the next 5 hours. Find a spot in one of the 3 'chill lounges', which include cushioned seats and stereo systems. With only twenty-two people on board, there is plenty of room to spread out and watch the tropical island scenery pass by as you sail.
After sailing up the coast, stop at 2 different beaches to explore, visiting both the Dutch and French sides of the island. Head ashore for a mud bath or a stroll on the powdery sand, swim, snorkel or take out one of the yacht's stand-up paddleboards. Hop on to the boat's rope swing to sail out over the water and cannonball in.
Sip drinks from the open bar, including top-shelf liquor as well as beer, juice and bottled water. Enjoy homemade coconut chicken with rice and other traditional Caribbean dishes, prepared fresh on board.
Your tour ends back at the starting point in Simpson Bay, from where you can make your own way back to the cruise port.

Great fun! Lunch was just right, the sea was perfect and the swing SO much fun! Not much to see while snorkeling, so don't go for that reason alone, but just having a chance to swim from the sailboat was awesome!
We had a great time! My kids age 18, 16 and 14 loved the way we could just jump off the bow of the boat and swing from the Tarzan swing! Everything from pickup at SkipJacks to drop off went just as well as could be expected. The lunch that Diane cooked up was delicious and different! She was very willing to make everyone happy. The captain, Trevor was always looking out for our safety and I suppose you could see that as being gruff, but when spoken to one on one while sailing, he was a very nice warm guy! There were only 15 people other than us on the boat and it was very comfortable! Everyone had their own area and going out to the bow of the boat and sitting there while sailing was really enjoyable. We snorkeled, paddleboarded, had lunch, swung of the trapeze and enjoyed cocktails and other edibles, enjoyed the day and loved it all!
Kimberly and Trever were excellent hosts. The ship is beautiful. The swing is a lot of fun, but there was a gymnast on the trip who was WAY better at swinging. I tried to match her moves, and ... well ... was less than successful. All in all, my wife and I really enjoyed the adventure and would highly recommend it to anyone!
The captain Trevor was gruff and angry. I understand safety precautions, but yelling at people before they even board the ship or dinghy is not a way to start off something thats supposed to be a fun experience. There was no music onboard, and it was a very boring excursion.
