We definitely recommend doing this ethical choice trip to see the Elephants. The people were lovely and the half day was well organised. The Elephants are amazing creatures and it was nice to see them free and being well looked after. To make this excellent the scenery and pictures online did not quite match this camps location. I believe their are a number of camps. However, apart from this. We loved it.

Book via Viator 6months ago. Arrived in Patong, Thailand called to confirm we made it and gave the our hotel name and room # for pick up next morning at 0630. Never came till after 0800 will more phone calls. Driver took us to wrong elephant sanctuary missed the majority of the 6 hrs day. We’re back to our hotel within 2.5 hrs. English is hard to find around here. What I saw was ok, but the elephants had wheeping eyes and tons of sores all over their bodies. Felt bad for them.
