The cooking class was excellent! Both the guide and the cooking teacher were very experienced and made the whole experience excellent. The dishes were great and we even received a cooking book to take home. Would highly recommend this class!

I'd encourage anyone visiting Siem Reap to do this, even if you don't really have much interest in cooking. We got to see a slice of local life in the village and cook 3 amazing dishes.. all of which you get to sit down and eat at the end of the class. The setting is fantastic and the chef is very friendly and guides you through everything step by step. Just book on it, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic for solo travelers and rainy days!

I did this cooking class on a rainy day in Siem Reap and was the only one on my tour. It was a fabulous class. I had Robin as my tour guide and she was really warm, engaging, knowledgeable, and fun! The meals were some of the most delicious I've had in my travels-- fish amok, mango salad, and banana coconut fritters. Would totally recommend! One note for the company is that the visit to deliver rice to the villagers felt a little awkward. I learned but I felt I was intruding on their privacy.

Great class. Well worth it. There were only four of us, which made it nice and intimate. The food was really tasty.

Who knew I would have so much fun...

Who knew I would have so much fun learning to cook like a Cambodian local? The tour began with a tuk tuk ride from my hotel to a beautiful hotel in what seemed like a remote village but in actuality was just outside Siem Reap. The backdrop for the cooking class was idyllic. We were surrounded by lush greenery including a lovely herb garden. Before we began cooking, our guide took us to the homestead of a local family just a short walk away where we were able to see a traditional Cambodian kitchen and ask questions of the host. When we returned to the outdoor kitchen, a chef was there to walk us through the preparation of a three-course Khmer meal. We made fish amok, mango salad and bananas with palm sugar and grated coconut. Boy was it delicious! This was such a fun excursion...worth every penny.

The pick up service was not free. The driver who took me to the hotel required me to give some more tips. Except this one, everything was great.
