Start your half-day tour with pickup from selected hotels in Split (morning departure only), or make your own way to the prearranged meeting point along the Riva — the picturesque waterfront promenade. A professional skipper welcomes you aboard the speedboat for a thrilling ride to your first destination: the Blue Lagoon. This pristine bay is tucked away between three islets — the Krknjaši islands and Drvenik Island — in the Adriatic Sea, making it a postcard-perfect slice of paradise. On arrival, use the provided snorkeling gear to explore marine life below the vivid, turquoise waters that gently wash over a seabed of white sand. After a leisurely swim you can soak up the sun on the boat deck. After approx. two hours of free time basking at the Blue Lagoon, your small group is whisked away to Trogir. Following a 30-minute cruise you’re set loose to explore the small medieval town independently. Set off to see the elegant bell tower and other attractions in the UNESCO-listed Old Town, most notably the Cathedral of St Lovro, a Venetian cathedral that is considered one of Croatia’s finest architectural works. After roughly 1.5 hours here, it's a quick boat ride back to Split, where your half-day tour concludes with a drop-off at the Riva. This tour is a must. It is well organised and professional. I had a wonderful day at Togir, The Blue Lagoon, and then a short stop at a cute little fishing village on the way back. Our guides were great and we were given plenty of time to relax and enjoy our tour. Early June is the best time before the crowds and water temp is perfect! Thank you guys for an amazing day.
Loved the 40 minute boat ride to the Blue Lagoon. The views looking back at Split are gorgeous. The water is amazingly clear and blue. We had fun jumping off the boat and swimming. Not much to look at snorkeling. We stayed for about an hour and a half. Then Trogir was nice. Probably could use more commentary and information. It is more of a boat ride than a tour.
We did enjoy our blue lagoon experience, but were disappointed in a few things. The tour said a max of 12 people, which we had in our group, but there was actually 17 people (plus crew) on the boat, which made it quite tight. The tour said we would head to the blue lagoon and swim and snorkel over the white sand seabed or relax on deck. We were actually dropped off on a rocky beach and told to come back in two hours. When we asked for the provided snorkel gear, there was only 6 masks and 1 snorkel available (for 17 people). Very disappointing. If you decide to take this tour, I suggest you bring your own googles and some water shoes, all 12 of us ended up with cuts on our feet trying to get to the white sand seabed.
Although we had some trouble navigating the palace to find the meeting point since we just got to split, we had a fun day out in the water. The crew was great-friendly and fun. Boat ride was a bit choppy at times but that is part of nature!
Great trip. Enjoyed the small group interaction. The guides were friendly and informative. More than enough time to swim, snorkel, and explore the Blue Lagoon. Trogir has a quaint and vibrant old town. The speedboat ride was such fun. Note of caution: many shops and restaurants take Kuna only. Bring more than your credit card and Euros.
Easy meet up point in the middle of town. Short walk to speedboat which took us to Trogir, the small venician inspired island. We then made our way to the blue lagoon for a couple hours of snorkeling. Gorgeous clear water. Highly recommend.
