Worth it!

This was a challenge but worth it. It was very intimate as it was just us, me and my boyfriend, and our guide Adrian. Originally it was suppose to be two couples so four guests total but the other couple never showed. I highly recommend doing the volcano hike this way instead of with a larger group. You do not have to wait for everyone and don't have strangers either slowing you down, blocking your view or talking during the amazing sounds of the jungle. Adrian was a pro! He came prepared with walking sticks, extra water and a local snack. He guided us and made sure we stayed on pace to get the full hike completed and be back to port in time for the ship. We are in good shape and found the hike challenging but not overwhelming. Monkeys were jumping in the trees, birds chirped and the air is so clean to breath. Adrian knows the mountain like the back of his hand so there was no worries about getting lost, or timing. The hike took us about 5 hours plus some drive time to the mountain from port. I am short so my legs had to really stretch to make the vertical climbs but I did it!. The view is worth it. You have 2 look out points and the last one is at the top where we can see the entire volcano, crater and more. We took a break and Adrian supplied some locally fruit juice and raisin bread to recharge us. Hiking back down was much easier. Adrian supplied hiking tips, local plant knowledge and island history. My boyfriend is an extremely good hiker and Adrian allowed him to go forward and stayed back with me to help guide me while he could soak it all in. It was a great day. We earned our drinks and dinner with the workout. Saw monkeys and learned a lot about St. Kitts. St. Kitts became my favorite stop as it was super clean, very polite and the guide and tour program was super organized. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a different adventure and love nature. Thank you!!!

This hike was intense. I’m in pretty good shape and it was still very much a challenge. It was soooooo worth it however. The entire process from beginning to end was rewarding. The guides also just as amazing. Book it!

My kids loved this excursion.

They are 18, 22, and 23, all in very good physical condition. They all said the hike was a real challenge. Several people did not complete it, but they said once the initial people dropped out. the hike was amazing. The guide was talkative, took breaks for people to catch their breath, and made the hike safer. They were exhausted after it, but loved being able to stand at the top of the Volcano.

The Mount Liamuiga is indeed a challenging hike even for regular hikers but it's worth it when you've made it to the top. The views are fantastic especially on a clear day. Happy that you and the kids had a wonderful time hiking the Mount Liamuiga. Regards David

Our guides name was Jolly and thank God he was very patient or we wouldn't have made it. Once you get there its one hell of a view, but then you have to go back down and down is more challenging than going up.

This was a great experience. Our tour guide was great and gave little bits of history as we went up the volcano through the rain forest. This is a strenuous hike and our tour guide was very patient with us and took breaks as we went. You do need to be some what active to do this hike. I was worried about making it back to our Cruise ship, and that wasn't a problem at all. They picked us up on time and got us back to the cruise ship in plenty of time.

This tour is for fitness and oudoors lovers. My 18-year old daughter and myself had a great day. Our guide, Adrian, a local gentleman who is passionate about and very knowledgeable of his island, was just extraordinary. Smart, funny, in great shape, he entertained us all along the trail and made the excursion a memorable one. We recommend the tour and the guide, definitely.

The hike to Mount Liamuiga was awesome! It was very challenging but definitely worth it. It rained on and off but I brought Yak Tracks for my hiking shoes which really helped from slipping during the climb down on the wet rocks and in the mud. Andre was our guide and he made the trip fun!

VERY strenuous, but a once in a lifetime experience. Very hard to get up there, harder to get down but totally worth it. The last bit is flat out rock climbing. A few times I thought I was going to pass out. Go slow if you need to. Our guide Hilton was amazing and helped us a ton. Only do this if you are in good shape, it is no joke!

Hilton was a great guide. He gave us a thorough history lesson as well as a biology lesson on the fauna and flora of St. Kitts while we hiked this well-maintained trail. It was challenging but beautiful. The trees in the rainforest were amazing to see. I could have spent all afternoon just exploring the forest. We will DEFINITELY do this hike again with Hilton! Good job!

This was a great hike. It is very steep with quite a few wet roots and rocks. Wear good shoes and be ready for a workout. Doobie, our guide, was great. The smaller the group, the better.
