"We had an amazing day with our driver/guide in the Wadi Rum desert. The day contained a lot of hiking to different rocks/viewpoints, but every “station” had a resting area where you got tea or you could buy cold drinks. It really was a whole day tour, we got back to the departure point after 8PM. I recommend this activity!"

"Early and fast driver picked us up at the port and we went to Petra and were able to get a golf cart before the crowds came and toured with a very knowledgeable and good guide who helped us take great pictures. We were able to get back to the ship for lunch."

"Jaafar met us precisely at 6:30 AM close to our gangway! Jaafar proved to be an excellent driver and looked after all our needs! He arranged for our local guide at Petra and then met us after we finished our visit! We were given a cell phone so that after we came back to the entrance, we phoned Jaafar and he promptly picked us up! His car was very comfortable to travel in! He arranged lunch for us at a local barbecue restaurant! Our private transport allowed us to get to the site well before bus loads of people arrived which allowed us to enter Petra gates without waiting in a line up! We walked with our guide at a very slow pace taking lots of pictures and he stopped to give us the history of each particular area. His English was excellent, and he had actually visited our home city , Vancouver, back in the nineties. Thank you Viator for another great visit to Jordan. We have used Viator in different parts of the world and have found the tours excellent , so thank you Viator and Jaafar in Aqaba!"

"Our trip was very interesting, we saw a lot of cool places. Driver was considerate of my daughter being pregnant and he drove very carefully. One remark, that it would be nice to know ahead of time that there is a lot of hiking involved in the trip. Not everyone in our group had proper shoes for climbing the rocky mountings."

"Where do I even begin? What an experience. I literally could write a phd project on how good this experience was, from the people, to the food, to the things we saw, the pictures we took, the sleep we got. There’s no doubt in my mind that me and my friend hit JACKPOT, when choosing this tour. Firstly the people. So nice and caring, they talk English very well and make you understand what you’re seeing and if there’s any questions they answer them with the best explanation. You get the real Bedouin experience in the camp because of the tents, beds and the local food, omg the food was amazing!!! 😍 3 times a day, you’ll always start your day full and sleep like a baby after a good dinner. The tea was also amazing. I would like to highlight 3 people who made this journey what it was and made it an unforgettable experience. Jaber firstly, our tour guide. Amazing amazing man! Professional, very good at explaining what’s happening, what we’re seeing and he knows the best locations to watch the sunset and starts at night! Secondly, Hossain. The host of the event, what a nice man, I’ve never met so humble and down to earth man in my life. Him being Bedouin and explaining him and his families story made the trip 1000x more worth it and enjoyable. Seriously I could go on and on, even in details but I don’t want to spoil it for you guys who’re reading this. Dear “reader” if you’re reading this and thinking about booking, do it! RIGHT NOW, you’ll NOT regret it. It will be a once in a lifetime experience. "Our driver met us at the cruise ship port and took us to Petra. He turned us over to the local guide who showed us everything in Petra. He had detailed in depth knowledge of the site and shared it all with us. He took many photos of us during or tour. We walked about 9 miles by the time we walked back up to the top. What fantastic memories. Beware of the horse carriages and the horse back rides are not FREE."

"On a whim, I booked these folks the same day for a solo trek out to Wadi Rum, fully expecting to be underwhelmed or declined because... is it really worth organizing all of this for a single person, at the very fair rates being charged?... but everything went ahead swimmingly. The tour operator was very communicative over the messaging system here, and had excellent English. He was exceedingly polite and would check in (through the driver) later on to ensure everything was to my liking. The vehicle was as described; AC, Beverage/Some Snack/Wifi, and comfortable. Mazen was my driver, and although his English isn't the best, he just exuded a loving Grandfather vibe, and spent the time making sure I was experiencing everything (including making sure I tasted a bit of EVERYTHING at dinner)! The tour was enjoyable, as I didn't expect to be flying across the desert in the back of a Bedouin outfitted 4x4 truck, the wind in my hair (hold on to your hats folks), feeling all the thrill of the bumps. (Protip: yelling "Yalla" seems to excite them and go faster). Lots of picturistic sites out in the desert, seeing camels, sunsets, 3,000 year old rock drawings, a small hike, some tea in a Bedouin tent... before back to an excellent camp with traditional food and a buffet with a very good selection of food. We had a sand storm come in at the end, so I didn't get to see the Bedouin dance party (I presume that's what they meant when they kept telling me they'll "DJ" later), but it's okay, I'll be back with friends next time. I whole heartily recommend this. Still can't believe they ran this tour for me (I felt it was a very fair value), my own driver from Aqaba, my own 4x4 Truck with Bedouin guide... and felt like they truly wanted me to have a good time. All standard expenses were included (entrance fee, food, bottle of water); but of course bring some cash for tips if they do well, and if you want any fancier beverages or souvenirs (and no, I was never asked to buy anything). Would also recommend reaching out to them if you want to add any extras. I'm sure they can arrange cool other activities to do out in the desert if you wanted. To the crew that runs this, well done! I'll be reaching out again for future trips to Petra and the rest of Jordan as I'll return in the near future!"
