I do postcards with my drawings and budget tours to top attractions and hidden gems of Transnistria. Honestly, I can’t make Maldives of my country, because it is not Maldives. But i can make an unforgettable journey through all contrasts of what it really is - beautiful panoramas and impressive soviet lost places, curious history and nowadays life in the country that doesn't exist, combining classic walk with forays for true explorers and adventurers. Tiraspol tour takes 2,5 hours with optional one hour extention. It is not Stalinism, we are very volatile where to go and what to do, but default route covers must-see USSR era and modern bits of 25 October Street - House of Soviets, T-34 memorial, Supreme Soviet, MiG-19 and my favorite nooks and crannies that I discovered doing my sketches. The country's national coat of arms still includes the traditional hammer and sickle and the Lenin statue hasn't yet been pulled down. This communist state is called "the last remaining Stalinist dictatorship in Europe".First stop is at Bender Fortress. In 1713, the fortress, the town, and the neighboring village Varniţa were the site of skirmishes (kalabalik) between Charles XII of Sweden, who had taken refuge there with the Cossack Hetman Ivan Mazepa after his defeat in the Battle of Poltava. After it, we will tour the city of Tiraspol, the capital of Transnistria and drive north up to Dubassary city, along the Dniester River. You will be amazed about the communist monuments still to be seen on the way and about small towns like Grigoriopol and Dubasari!

Moldova celebrates Victory Day on 9 May to remember the end of World War II. It is a day to celebrate the defeat of Nazi Germany and to solemnly remember those who died in the war. It is also a time to honour World War II veterans who are still alive.
How about celebrating the Independence Day of a non-existing country? Strange, isn’t it? Strange but possibile… Transnistria is a breakaway part of Republic Of Moldova, who has all the necessary things to be a country (government, local currency, National Bank, local car license plates for the cars, flag, police, army, etc.) but except one thing….it is not recognized by nobody except... South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Nagorno Karabah, all sister “countries” being in the same situation. And like any normal country they have a National Day, and they celebrate it! So let’s go and see how they celebrate, meet locals and talk to them, visit their capital Tiraspol, understand their religion - Russian orthodox, see their country, history and see for yourself how they live and what they have to offer. An unrecognized country celebrates its independence - Transnistria!
We offer comprehensive, adapted, interactive, medium-pace sights-stories-realities tour based on our vast experience of life in Transnistria and abroad. Let's see Tiraspol together at its best in English, French, Italian, Portuguese & Russian!
