"Although it was very difficult to locate the ship terminal, the river cruise itself was fantastic. The ever changing lights and colors of the buildings on both sides of the river were just amaxing. Althougb I must have been the only foreigner on the cruise, there were no problems at all."

"Our visit to Seven Star Crag was stunning. The guide, Damon, arranges transport for our family of 6 and arrived early at our hotel. As we drove through GZ, he gave us a lovely history lesson about the area in very clear English. We were well prepared by Damon for all the questions that may arise, how to use our health code apps, etc. Frankly, we could not have accomplished this visit without him as the language barrier is just too challenging for our limited language skills. Damon introduced us to the highlights of the park and then ensure we hit the highlights by keeping us focused without rushing us. As they day grew long, he patiently waited for us to change the plan a bit so my husband could claim to the top. Damon stayed near enough to the kids and I to be accessible, but not so near that we were felt as if we needed to entertain him. Honestly, if we make it back to GZ, we will seek out Damon just so we can take whichever tour he is leading. He is definitely our favorite tour guide to date!"

"Our tour guide met us at our hotel lobby. He notified the front desk to relay a message to us upon checking in as to his name, Jack, and when he will be by to pick us up and to have our passports with us. Jack was on time and he had a driver waiting outside. Upon arriving at the cruise destination, he purchased the tickets and accompanied us on the Pearl River night cruise. It was just the 4 of us, our party of 3 and Jack. Jack spoke excellent English. The Pearl River night cruise in Guangzhou was spectacular. The buildings, bridges, retail shops along the wharf were lighted up. The cruise was about an hour. It may be the best night river cruise that I have experienced. While during the night, water cruise, the tour guide provided background information about what we were seeing. But, what I appreciate even more is his knowledge of the history of Guangzhou and China. His insights provided perspective on the City itself and of the significance of the Pearl River delta. Lastly, since we were taking a Bullet train to Toishan/Taishan City the next day, not being familiar with the Train Station nor how it is lay out, Jack provided general instruction as to how to navigate the train station (it was hugh- akin to Grand Central station in New York) and to top it off, he provided his phone number to call if we encountered any problem. Jack is an outstanding tour guide. If we were ever in Guangzhou again, I would give Jack a call to enlist his service for a private tour of Guangzhou."

"If your a foodie I would highly recommend this tour. The tour guide was very accommodating. We got to visit a number of establishments. Our guide also took us to wander around in the seafood markets and had a chance to pick up some fresh seafood and have a local restaurant cook our selection. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Its a good balance of eating and walking around the streets of Guangzhou. You will enjoy the market places and visiting the local street vendors while filling your belly."
