From there, we will head east through the coastal road boarding the beautiful beaches in the town of Loíza. Exposition regarding our Puerto Rican heritage, and live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings can be given in both English and Spanish throughout the journey. We will stop at “La Frutera”, a popular stand where you can try delicious smoothies, eat some tasty foods, and freshen up before heading into the Rainforest. Once we arrive at the Rainforest River, we will take a nature walk path (watch out for wet, uneven terrain) through the flora until reaching the river stream. Do not forget your towel and swimsuit! Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling! The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills before heading off on an open water dive. Your open water dive takes you as deep as 12 metres/40 feet! (Of course this depends on where you dive.)

The Bio Bay has microscopic organisms called dinoflagellates that produce a glowing effect when they are stirred by our paddles. What should I wear? Come prepared to get wet from your waist down. Lightweight, synthetic clothing or a swimsuit is the best. Do not walk bare foot on the beach for safety reasons. What to bring? Change of clothes, towel and mosquito repellent (just in case!). You can bring cameras only with water proof bag or water proof case. What not to bring or wear? Jeans or sweats. Don’t bring any valuables you don’t want to get wet, lose or damage. Storage available?
