It’s time to celebrate the holidays as Dallas lights up like no other place in the world. Get into the holiday's spirit with our Holiday Lights Sightseeing Tour. Our excursion will take us through downtown Dallas, Kessler Park, and Highland Park's most festive seasonal decorations and light installations on our comfortable climate-controlled bus.Your holiday sightseeing adventure begins at the JFK Memorial where you will meet your tour guide. From there, we’ll hop on the warm bus and tour around downtown Dallas landmarks and holiday displays. During the second leg of the tour, we will visit Kessler Park to enjoy the neighborhood festive decorations. The last part of the excursion will take us to Highland Park, we will drive down Beverly's holiday displays, tour the Highland Park Village and visit the town's dazzling “Big Pecan Tree” on Armstrong Parkway. We will stop along the way to taste some wine at a local venue (venues will vary, depending on the day and availability).
Board the decorated, vintage style Jolly Trolley for a fun-filled holiday experience! Ride with us to Johnson City, Tx to view the spectacular light displays. Enjoy the holiday music or watch vintage editions of Rudolph or Charlie Brown's Christmas (and more) along the way. Johnson City is one of the most popular attractions in the Hill Country - with over 1 million lights on view at Pedernales Electric Co-op, the fully draped Courthouse and the shops along the historically quaint town square. Take a stroll through Wonderland with the family. Grab cocoa or cider from one of the onsite vendors, take a hayride or carriage ride, or just relax and enjoy the setting. Johnson City is a Do-Not-Miss at Christmastime!Please Note: You should dress for the weather. The trolleys are heated but will not feel as warm as your personal vehicle.
Johnson City Light’s Spectacular- The most festive Texas Hill Country town, Johnson City, (and LBJ’s childhood home) celebrates it’s 30th annual Lights Spectacular. The town is a blaze of beautiful Christmas lights and cheer. See the lights at City Hall, the Pedernales Co-Op and residential and business’ lights. Horse Drawn Carriage rides (additional cost), Tractor Pulled Hayrides (donation), tour LBJ’s boyhood home (check dates and availability), downtown merchants and vendors, art galleries- and great restaurants and bars. Grab a hot chocolate to-go and top it off with a shot of Moonshine (additional fee) to walk around the square and see the lights!
