8-Day Donegal Guided Walk
The Donegal Coast guided walk introduces safe, quiet sandy beaches amidst its rugged shores which surround a tranquil land rich in heritage & folklore. Malin Head, the northernmost point of all Ireland lies in Donegal’s Inishowen Peninsula. Donegal is one of the 9 counties of the Province of Ulster, yet is governed by the Republic of Ireland.
Your first three nights are based in Ardara, the centre of the tweed industry. From here you will visit Glencolmcille, with its picturesque sites, and clime spectacular Slieve League. You then move north to the Gweedore area for the next 4 nights.
You may wish to partake in other activities on your “free day”, or we may arrange a boat trip to one of Donegal’s many islands, weather permitting. Next you climb Errigal, Donegals toughest mountain with a final hike to the cliffs around Horn Head near Dunfanaghy.
