Jean was a very knowledgeable guide and conversationalist. He and his driver wife, Linda, were very flexible in adjusting our tour to meet special requests which were several as my 95 year old father in law served in the U. S. Army in the Battle of the Bulge and we saw many sites in and near Bastogne. Jean also showed us the sights of Luxembourg city during our walking tour.
This tour is amazing and absolutely worth the expense. We did it on April 31, 2017. All the flowers were in bloom, especially in the square. Jean/Sean was wonderful and exceptionally accommodating. Five Stars. He was punctual and an excellent careful driver in his luxurious and comfortable Mercedes Van. Luxembourg is fantastic and should not be missed. Jean is knowledgable and will share and fill in what you do not already know. Bastogne is pure history and should be seen along with the 3rd Army cemetery and includes Patton's grave and a memorial. Do not miss this tour! Amazing! Highly recommended -- My wife is still in Europe with the pictures, so must send only these that includes some from The Netherlands.
Our guide arrived on time with a comfortable van for our group of 5. He was knowledgeable about Belgium and Luxembourg and was able to answer almost all our questions. He was able to show us the highlights of Luxembourg City and Bastogne on the way back. He offered us different possibilities of how to spend out time. Our only complaint if it can even be called that, is that we did not really like where he suggested we have lunch in Luxembourg City - there were a lot of choices and the one he suggested was just a little ordinary.
Don't go to visit on a monday as all places are closed and its a long drive . Went to a top notch restaurant and because we were tourists got horrible service and they ignored us . Glad to leave and would never go back
A great day but very long. The driver/guide arrived on time in a very new, clean and very comfortable mini bus. Was informative and interesting and tailored the tour to address my daughter's particular interests. Never any pressure to hurry up. Highly recommended.
Originally we had planned to self tour the Normandie beachfront. Glad we did'nt. Our tour guide Jean Francois was a local who lived on the coast. He knew every back farm road along the Normandy Beach front. Made the most of our time, arranged for lunch and was very knowledgeable. Excellent.
Quite pricey but it was well worth it because by having a private tour guide, you can stop and visit other places. Jean Wynns was very knowledgeable and amazingly nice! The Casemates are very interesting and looking at the city from different levels was so pretty.
