Francis Ford Coppola filmed parts of The Godfather in small villages on the eastern side of Sicily, places difficult to reach without a car. This tour allows admirers of the movie to visit them without a sweat. Get picked up at the port in Giardini Naxos and driven to villages that were stands-in for the partly real, partly fictional Corleone. As a bonus, stop at Taormina for views of Etna and shopping before heading back to the port.
  • Explore The Godfather filming locations with a guide who knows how to get you there
  • Visit Savoca—where Mike Corleone and Apollonia Vitelli marry—and Forza d'Agrò
  • Transport by air-conditioned minivan, convenient on hot days
  • Pickup and drop-off at the port in Giardini Naxos

Interesting tour that took us to a few different sites, some that would be difficult to get to on your own. Time/pace was good. There were some more strenuous walks that might be a problem to some people. Would have liked to have been shown pictures of the scenes from the movie to compare with what we saw as you had to remember the scene. Since this is an old movie, there was not much background information about the filming so that also could have been enhanced by more content investigation.
