Our tour guide was Laura. She was wonderful and made the whole experience educational, fun, and personal. We did a number of tours and found that the best tours were given by the best guides. Laura certainly fit that description.
The tour included a wonderful explanation of the Duomo and a brief but instructive visit at The Last Supper. My only suggestion is the tour could be cut short, with the heat it was pretty uncomfortable walking in the sun.
This tour was so worth it. Our guide was organized and efficient and we had minimal wait times. She was personable and enthusiastic about showing us Florence. It was awesome to go through the Uffizi with someone who could take us through in a way that minimized what would otherwise be pretty overwhelming given the amount of history and art there is to cover.
The guide was outstanding. I've been to a lot of art museums and I always get guide when I go. Emanuela obviously had a wealth of knowledge about the art and, even better, you could tell that she really loved it.
