It was really lovely to go and take 40 minutes to quietly go through the dunes. Seeing them from camel height was sweet. The team were very friendly and welcoming and the trip was relaxing and calming.

Well run and very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Gran Canaria. Guides were attentive to camels and ourselves making conversation and making sure we were happy

We didn’t even find the camels

We ended up not going on the camel ride and the whole thing was so badly signposted that what we thought was the meeting point actually wasn’t. We waited there for an hour and no one showed up. Poor signage. I think you’d get better reviews with more of this.

Worth doing once! Staff was very friendly, the experience was worth it once getting used to the wobbliness of the camels. Only con: finding the meeting point proved difficult

Something very different to do but the seats on the camels were very uncomfortable and there was quite a long wait before we couild set off as you are not actually given a time you just wait in line which can be quite hot in the sunshine.

Fantastic experience! I came from Las Palmas and the indications for the camel ride venue were easy to follow. There are always many people queued up to get on their rides, so it's advisable to get there early - 10 or 11 am. I got there at 1130 and had to wait for 1 hour and a half to get on. Overall, highly recommended.

Quite an experience. The guides were very good. one criticism the footrest on the seats are supported with leather straps which kept pinching my legs and I ended up with tiny bruises on the back of my legs. Needs looking at. Good way of seeing the sand dunes. I have ridden on a camel before and that was in Morroco. There the seats was between the humps. Much more comfortable. Would I do it again? I don't think so but I think that all that go to Maspolomas should do it at least the once.

I thought this camel ride malarky might be a bit cheesy and gimmicky but I really enjoyed it. Get to the place early 9:00 so that you don't have to come back later the same day. The ride through the dunes in the conservation area is peaceful and unusual. You don't get to see much in the way of wildlife but the dunes are lovely. The duration is about right ... it's not something that takes long to do but it's worth it nonetheless. The location is badly signed. Walking up from the direction of the beach it's on the right.
