The trip itself was fairly good and our guide Ngoc was excellent. Only wish was for less boat (1.5 hours) where just sitting and more cycling (30 minutes). Views were amazing despite being overcast.

Great tour. Nghia our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and passionate about his country. Bus was comfortable. Pagodas were interesting. Boat trip was very different. Beautiful scenery. Bike ride is a great way to see the countryside and appreciate it's beauty. Only let down was food wasn't excellent, but I didn't do the tour for the food. Would love to visit area again and stay for a few days.

Pretty good. The hike to the top gives you a great view and excellent picture opportunities. Boat ride was too long. (1hr 45) Would have preferred longer on the bikes to explore surrounding countryside.

I totally enjoyed this tour. It was amazing. If you've been to Halong Bay you will love this tour. It's better than Halong. We started with a "hike" up over 600 steps, which very fairly steep. I was only able to go up about 225 steps (bad knees!). Beautiful views from where I ended. Others in the group who made it said it was a great view. We then went for a bike ride to a temple and then biked to lunch, which was plentiful and very good. Back on bikes to the boat ride. (flat land) This is where you see the "peddlers" row with there feet when arms need a rest. Beautiful scenery , you pass thru 3 caves. Took about 1:45 for the boat ride. Did I mention my peddler, was a 72 yr old lady! WOW. Very tranquil . Then back to the hustle of Hanoi. If you have a free day, do this tour , it was well worth it!
