the tour was very interesting. good organizes. the track was well designed and very impressive. the guide exhibited good control and knowledge, His English was very clear. He had a very high level of organization and responsibility, being boat the driver and the guide.his driving was a very professional one and we felt safely while he was driving and talking.Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed the tour.
We very much liked Santana - and the €15 lunch in the hotel was good value, but it's a shame that there isn't time to visit the open air museum nearby.
We can only give this four stars as we thought there were too many panoramic stops, rather visiting the actual places you were looking at from on high.
This tour is ideal for those who want to see as much as possible of Madeiran East coast. Our guide Guma showed us a lot more places than was on tour description. He also was very polite and recommended where to eat in Santana. This company also organizes tour to the west coast, but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit it.Thank you very much, highly recommended!
Interesting day winding up and down the mountains. So many different views, along with interesting facts and figures from our friendly guide, translating perfectly into two languages, and giving us a smooth drive. Beautiful island trip with wonderful lunch stop at a really good price.
Tour guide spoke good English and had good knowledge about the area as he was from Santana, his name was Gama. Thankyou Gama for a lovely tour in your homeland. Only gripe would be the 1 and half hour stop for lunch. 1 hour would have been plenty a little too long not a lot to see. The rest of the tour had some spectacular breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend as we have booked tours in other countries ourselves and we always choose Viator.
Truly an exceptional tour guide though I can't remember his name. He was able to easily converse with all members of the tour in their native tongue-moving easily between English and Portuguese. We were allowed time at each location to explore on our own but he pointed out the highlights ahead of time so we wouldn't miss anything. I'm glad I went on this tour. You will be too.
