Good tour but wrong infomation prior to going

Atlas Mountains and 4 Valleys & Waterfalls: Guided Day Trip From Marrakech | Mar 2020
Experience itself was good overall however few bit which made it disappointing. Included in this trip was the waterfalls however due to poor rainfall over past two years there was no waterfalls. I think this is information I should have been informed of prior to booking. I understand if rain fall in past week or so was bad which resulted in lack of waterfalls but this was a long term thing. Other thing tour said Breakfast was included and lunch optional however we didn't get breakfast and didn't feel lunch was optional it was served and didn't get a choice to opt out of it. On a positive side the tour guide was great!

Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains & Camel ride Day Trip From Marrakech | Mar 2020
This tour didn’t go as advertised. We were supposed to start in the desert, for the camel ride, but ended up riding a camel at some parking lot. Disappointing to say the least. I’ve read reviews about the interaction of the tour guides, not so much from this one. I’d def do more research before booking this kind of tour.

we weren't expecting the French and hated it,

Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys & Waterfalls - Camel ride Day Trip Marrakech | Mar 2020
we were collected from the cafe de France in the Medina because the taxi could not get to our Riad. there was already a family of 4 French in all the best seats and talking to the driver. the camel ride as advertised was good especially as there were some baby camels. we tried to communicate with the French but they were not very friendly because we could speak French. they kept their seats the whole day and never offered to swop with us to give us a good view. the driver could have suggested it but failed to do so as he talked to them in French whenever he could, laughing and joking. He struggled with his English so he only spoke to us when he had to even though the advert said "English guide". the other thing that was not mentioned in the advert was if you wanted to see the "three valleys and waterfalls" you had to sit on the back of a mule for 2 hours. being 71 I refused to sit on a mule so I was left at a restaurant for 2 hours watching everyone else eat. we eventually had lunch at 4pm when all the rice had run out. I did not enjoy my day but the grandchildren did.

Not exactly what we hoped for but pretty nice!

Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains & Camel ride Day Trip From Marrakech | Mar 2020
If I had the opportunity I would give this trip 3,5 stars but unfortunately I have to rate it with 3. I have to clarify that we enjoyed our experience but it wasn't clear enough that we would only have 30-40' to the desert and we thought that this excursion would be more dedicated to Desert Agafay than to the Valleys, due to the lack of information on the itinerary. Our guide was very kind and he provided with more than enough information about the local people and the villages. We made plenty of stops and we were hiking in the valleys and reached the waterfalls. We weren't prepared for so much walking through the valleys but we enjoyed it anyway as the landscape was very beautiful. The meals offered are a very thoughtful gesture and are worth the money. I have to point out 3 things: 1) Wear comfortable shoes as you have to cross some distance walking and you have to be well prepared 2) The road is pretty tiring so if you get nauseous you maybe want to consider taking a pill 3) The Desert part isn't as exciting as it sounds because the stop is at an isolated spot and in my opinion not a very nice one. The camels didn't seem very well and a lot of them were not happy at all with the walk as the desert is rocky and the camels' feet are more suitable for sand than rocks. I felt very sorry for them because I thought they were in pain. Overall I enjoyed the experience in the valleys and getting to see the women making the argan oil and walking through the traditional villages to the waterfalls, but that's not what I signed for as the excursion gives the impression that is more dedicated to the desert, which I didn't enjoy so much. If you are not so sensitive about the camels then I believe that you'll enjoy the trip more.

Having a great time

Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains & Camel ride Day Trip From Marrakech | Mar 2020
The pickup was terrible and not good communicated. On the site they said that you will pickup at your hotel or Riad. But it's not true. We book two time and both time we never pickup at our Riad and we had to go outside meetingpoint. On the pickup day they call the manger from our Riad and he told us to wait in the Mosquée Berrima. We wait but nobody came and we decide to call. Later we find out that we are at the wrong meeting point. The manager said that they are coming to pickup us. We don't understand why they not call us because we leave our mobile number behind on the booking site. So the pickup was not arrange very well. Despite they said that they pickup you up at your place where you staying . So, pay attention at the pickup time and location. The tour was great. The guide was nice and told us information about the place where we go. Nice to see the camel and ride on it. The waterfall was not big but nice to see. We had a great time. !

Great 1 day trip from Marrakech!

Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains & Camel ride Day Trip From Marrakech | Mar 2020
The organisation of the trip was perfect, the pick up in time. Ismail and Chawi were really nice guides/drivers!! first we've been driving through the stone desert of agafay and had 2 stops for photos. then we drank tea at the camel ride house and spent 30min on the camels in the desert which was the highlight of the tour. for lunch we went to a berber's house where on 2 levels several touristic groups were served lunch. afterwards we did a 30min hike to a waterfall. after another 30min drive we went to a cooperative for argain oil where we drank again some tea. at 6pm we returned home. i think for the price it is a really good tour which of course is touristic but the best option when you want to experience something out of marrakech in 1day trip!!

Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys & Waterfalls - Camel ride Day Trip Marrakech | Mar 2020
This was a great tour with Hassan! He was so friendly and really explained a lot within the Atlas Mountains, the meal at the end was fantastic & was a good amount of hiking throughout the area. The camel ride was short at the start of the day, so it wasn't the main feature of the tour.

Atlas Mountains and 4 Valleys & Waterfalls: Guided Day Trip From Marrakech | Mar 2020
Nice trip. The tour guide and driver were quite good, and the hotel pick up option made it very convenient. The tour ended up being about 9 hours (much of which is driving between the sites) and there was one sales stop along the way, but no pressure. Be advised that the walk to the waterfall is pretty rugged so not for everyone.

Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys & Waterfalls - Camel ride Day Trip Marrakech | Mar 2020
What an amazing day out. The driver and guide were very knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy their time with the group. Be prepared for a steep climb at some points. The guide warned us about this and our group managed with no problem. There are donkeys for the less abled so if you think you’ll struggle speak up before you start the walk. There was no pressure to buy from the cooperatives we stopped at along the way, we met some lovely people.
